“Take me back to the night we met.”

Some promises were meant to become memories.
Some plans were never meant to happen.
And some conversations ended before we could live them.

A voice note full of “we’ll do this,” “we’ll go there,” and “I’ll teach you that”—
only to end with a username where a person used to be.

Maybe the hardest part isn’t losing someone,
but losing everything you once planned with them.

जो बातें कह नहीं पाता, उन्हें लिख देता हूँ।
कुछ बातें ऐसी भी होती हैं जो बयान नहीं की जातीं—
कुछ ग़म, ख़ुशी, लाचारी, शर्म,झिझक,
और छुपी हुई ख़ामोशियाँ।
कभी-कभी ख़ुश होता हूँ,
दिल करता है सब को बता दूँ
कि किस बात पर इतना ख़ुश हूँ मैं—
फिर देखता हूँ, मेरे पास कोई होता ही नहीं,
तो उन्हें लिख देता हूँ।
मैं अब लिख देता हूँ,
वो बातें जो मैं किसी ख़ौफ़ की वजह से कह न सका,
वो आदतें जो मुझे ख़ुद अपनी अच्छी नहीं लगतीं,
वो लोग जो मुझे हद से ज़्यादा चाहते हैं,
और वो लोग जो मुझे अनजाने में रुला जाते हैं।
मैं सब के बारे में लिख देता हूँ—
मगर किसको सुनाऊँ?
कोई हो जो मेरी डायरी की तरह
सिर्फ़ मेरी बातें सुने और ख़ामोश रहे,
न उन पर हँसे,न छेड़े, बस मेरी बात सुने।
