Trash or Treasure?

Waterpipes and electric cables were two of the things I decided to work with on my last project

The cables got stripped and untwisted and gathered to make Tassels for the doors

The Waterpipes got straightened, cut, and turned into handles

There is so much material already existing, most get thrown away

With my art, I am on a mission to turn trash into treasure ✨️

I didn't want to give myself a No, so this is my entry from Sweden 🤗

I would love to join you in Canada, Steve, I would love to see the Art world there through your eyes And I would love to get even more inspiration for my art from Art_Toronto

And if not, at least I gave myself a chance 😊

Life puzzle no.2 in the making

Love how the black on black turned out

While working on them, I am also working on my own Life Puzzle (aren't we all)

This typewriter is fun and such a headache

But this is what I have chosen for my next piece of art, so I have to stick with it

First draft not that successful....working on it

My first 🩷

My first piece of art at an exhibition

The piece is called "Don't Touch"

Might be a "worn" topic, but is the woman's body hers to decide who gets to touch it? Who gets to see it?

My take on the topic

Thank you, Kulturenshuset, for the opportunity

We search the world, we search the skies,
Looking for the pieces, wondering why.

We seek, we ask, we wander far,
Chasing answers, like a distant star.

But in the mirror, the truth is clear,
The missing pieces are always near.

Not in others, not in things,
But in ourselves, where true change begins.

Look within, don’t look away,
For the puzzle is you, in every way.

I love creating, ideas come to me like water flowing through a river

But I haven't given my creativity a chance

That changed yesterday

Kulturenshus Luleå had an open call for all

And I went

It was exciting, scary, and nervous, but I did it anyway

So from this Friday you will be able to see my art (amongst many others) in their art exhibition

If you want to know what artwork I choose to exhibit, look at the last pictures

Details ✨️

Tassels from electric cables, they were actually what started the whole vision for this project

They took a lot of hours to make, a tassle hassle 😄

The handles, from water pipes bent to perfection

My kind of perfection

I want to show that it has had a life before, perfection in the unperfect

The legs, a lot of sizes to big when I found them but it was ment to be them

Upside-down cabinet done ✔️

From Trash to Treasure

This cabinet was ready for the skip, and yes it is the same cabinet as the first picture

Lots of hours, lots of #upcycled materials, electric cables, copperplate, old water pipes

And here we are. The finished product was only an idea on a piece of paper- now reality

I am so happy with how it turned out, and I am so grateful for the weather that showed up when it was time for the pictures 🌈🌫

It's been so much fun travelling, exploring and getting inspired

Now,back home again and working on a project that I hope I will be able to show very soon

Only that paint on this project of mine is "new" ,everything else is #upcycled

Did I find it?

I sure did!

As I've written about before, I find inspiration everywhere, and my trip back home to Copenhagen (yes in a way I have 2 places I call home 🩷) wasn't any different...there was inspiration everywhere and trying to capture it all was a full time job

Here is some of what I captured. I hope it inspires you too 🇩🇰
