Our hearts and minds were never meant to live in constant survival mode, stressing over every little thing. Somewhere along the way, this became the pace of modern life, but we now know that living this way does not truly serve us. Over time, chronic stress can slowly impact our health and well-being.

Research shows that spending time outdoors can help lower stress, support heart health, improve focus, boost mood, and help the body regulate and restore itself. Sometimes the medicine we need is as simple as sunlight, fresh air, and the presence of trees.

The forest is so full of life & healing energy. The water, the trees, the air, revitalize me & remind me of the beauty of feeling peace & gratitude for all things. Seeing my little one enjoy the little things & thrive in her natural habitat is blissful. As I teach her, she teaches me so many things, too. A beautiful balance. A beautiful journey. For the Summer Solstice our family spent the day at the park soaking in the sunlight, grounding with the Earth, and honoring the turning of the seasons. Just like the ancient Otomí and other Mesoamerican traditions, we took this solstice as a moment to return to gratitude, connection, and harmony with the natural world. 🌱🌎❤️
