Im getting my money's worth with this dehydrator!!! Testing some ginger with sugar, hopefully it turns out delicious 😋 otherwise I just grind it up and make it into a powder 💛 I love practicing ways to reduce waste. Also, Im enjoying making myself laugh 🥸#cringeworthy

Maggie is my lil magpie friend. Extremely intelligent but also, windows are not her friend. I notices she was trying to get low for the door but for some reason wasnt able to. I saw she kept getting as low as my bike tire, so of course I did what any logical human would do and placed it to where she could escape. Needless to say, we both understood the assignment. Still waiting for my trinkets cause this ain't our first rodeo, but if I dont find where shes putting them, Ill just assume she's planting them 🌻🧡 lmao, yes, Im weird, and yes animals are my friends and I name them :) it may be a different magpie but to me they are all Maggie's and they all love me as much as I love them 😂

Helping land owners take out dead standing Aspen, Spruce, and Firs. This is done to reduce fuel loads, open up the forest floor, and promote an overall healthier forest.

🌲 What a healthy ponderosa pine stand can look like.

Strong trees. Open spacing. Sunlight reaching the forest floor. A resilient forest is not about having the most trees—it's about having the right trees in the right places.

Healthy ponderosa pine forests are better able to withstand drought, insects, disease, and wildfire while providing valuable wildlife habitat and protecting our watersheds.

As a forester, I love finding stands like this because they show what thoughtful management and natural forest processes can achieve.

What do you notice about this stand? 👇

A sharp chain makes all the difference. Here’s a quick look at how I sharpen my Stihl chainsaw before getting back to work in the field. 🌲🪚
Work smart. Stay safe. Keep your tools ready.
