First time I’ve seen this bus since I sold this bad boy to Juan with the @busboyz back in 2022 and it’s finally back on the road after being off the road since 2006. I found this bus back east and shipped it here to so cal (couple photos where i pulled it from). I was going to save it and build it because it’s a walk through! The 1962 Karmann Ghia Has a Heartbeat! This stale air 40hp built by Richie’s Kustom Haus purrs and sounds so good. There’s a few extras in it that gives it an extra bump on the road. Will be putting on a VW Pierburg fuel pump on it soon, waiting on the air cleaner pre heat tube, little stuff. There’s Still more things to iron out with electrical, doors, interior trim pieces and touch ups. Kauai Was Hammered Last Night 9-7-26 by Hurricane Lowell. 90 mph plus winds with huge storms surge along beach’s. Poipu was hit hard, Sheraton is gone. North shore hit with huge flooding. No power for 90% of the island. My friends and loved ones there are safe but it’s going to be year another long road to recovery.
