Sometimes I think about how different my life would look if I had decided I was “too late” to start beach volleyball.

I didn’t start until I was a sophomore in college. I was learning a completely new sport while other people had already been playing for years.

I could have let that stop me.

Instead, I just kept playing.

And somehow this sport became such a huge part of my life. It gave me experiences I never expected, introduced me to people I’ll love forever, and eventually became something I cared enough about to build Beach Box around.

That’s really why I wanted to share this.

Because I know there’s a girl somewhere looking at everyone around her and thinking she’s already too far behind.

You’re not.

You don’t need to know where it’s going to take you.

You just have to be willing to start. 🤍

Maybe this is the beginning of your beach era. 🥺 taken in Beach Box by @beachboxutah
