Kerry from the Beachcomber Tours team swapped the beach for a day exploring Mauritius' wild south 🌿

While she was staying at Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa, Kerry spent a day on the Wild South tour, exploring the heart of southern Mauritius.

🛕 Grand Bassin, the sacred lake revered by Hindus
🌳 Black River Gorges National Park, home to plants and wildlife found only on the island
🌈 The Seven Coloured Earth Geopark at Chamarel, where volcanic ash paints the land in rainbow shades
🥃 Rum tasting at Rhumerie de Chamarel
🍛 Mauritian chicken curry for lunch, with panoramic views across the south-west coast to Le Morne

The tour lasts about 8 hours, and hotel pickup is included.

Planning a family holiday to Mauritius in 2027 or 2028?

The best family holidays often start with a little planning ahead. Picture sunsets on the north-west coast, the children off having fun at the Kids Club for 3- to 11-year-olds, and long dinners together once the day winds down.

Stay All Inclusive at Victoria Beachcomber Resort & Spa from 28 May 2027, from £6,816 per family.

Or look a year further ahead and stay Half Board at Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa, beneath Le Morne Brabant, from 05 August 2028, from £8,165 per family.

Both prices are for 2 adults and 2 children for 7 nights, with transfers included in Mauritius. Which summer will your family choose?

3 islands, 3 resorts: Louise's Maldives island-hopping adventure 🌴

The Maldives had been on Louise Milligan's bucket list for years. On an educational trip with us and Stewart Travel, she finally made it, staying on 3 islands that each had their own character.

At fun-filled OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi, her days meant kayaking, racing down the waterslides and dinner at Ylang-Ylang. At peaceful OBLU Nature Helengeli, she relaxed on a sea hammock with an Aperol in hand. Then a seaplane took her to Atmosphere Kanifushi, with her Beach Villa with Pool, welcome cocktails at Pier Six and the release of baby sea turtles.
