With 20+ years as a birth doula (and counting), taking care of people is pretty much in my DNA. So naturally, I fell in love with hosting too. ❤️

Even if I don’t get to meet everyone face-to-face (or hug you 😂), I still love creating a place where people feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for.

Every once in a while, a message arrives that reminds me exactly why I said yes to this calling.

Being a doula has never been about recognition, it’s about showing up, serving others well, and helping people feel seen, supported, and never alone.

When I first became a birth doula, I never imagined that my journey would also lead me to walk alongside my own parents as they took their last breaths, or that I would one day hold space for families as they said goodbye to the people they love most. Those experiences changed me. They taught me that whether we’re welcoming a new life or honoring one that’s coming to an end, what people remember most is how they were cared for.

It is such an honor and privilege to be invited into these deeply sacred moments. They are tender, emotional, and unforgettable.

This sweet message meant more than she probably realizes. It filled my cup in a way that’s hard to put into words and reminded me that simply being present can make all the difference.

To every family who has trusted me with their most vulnerable moments
