After over 5 months of working at The Home Depot I was finally awarded my first Homer Award (#HomerAward). It was an extremely busy morning at the Self Checkout registers and the Regional Managers just happened to be doing a walkthrough at that time and watched me for 15-20 minutes helping customers check out. With the outstanding help of other cashiers I worked with we cleared between 50 to 75 customers during that time period. Since I was in charge as the head cashier, they recognized my Excellent Customer Service with my first Homer Award. I was very proud and humbled by the recognition. by @beaker90fs

I’m back wearing the orange once again. Last time I worked at The Home Depot was the summer of 2014. Great to be back with such a wonderful company. As I change of pace, they requested I become a part-time Head Cashier so that’s my new job. It should be interesting since I have never been a cashier before 😁😁 by @beaker90fs

UPDATE: 18 March 2025. Check the last two videos. My community service project continues. I think I need to talk to the local government to see if I can find out if there are any plans to work on this road or if I can get some assistance. I think two dump trucks of fill dirt and two trucks of gravel would completely cover the road and elevate high enough to prevent flooding. Of course if there are plans to finish the paving of the road, that would be the optimal solution. Today’s effort was only about 90 mins not the 2 hours mentioned in the video by @beaker90fs
