🕊️ ELECTRIC GROOVE X BEATPIE 🕊️

TWO CREWS. TWO CITIES. ONE DANCEFLOOR.

We’ve been cooking up something a little special this Halloween with our good friends at @beatpie__… and it’s time to let the freaks out. 👀

Electric Groove and Beatpie are joining forces to take over @thequivr laneway for a day to night session of proper house music, bringing together some of the Gold Coast’s most sought after selectors, a few Electric Groove favourites and some fresh faces behind the decks.

Kicking things off from 2pm, the Electric Groove crew will be doing what they do best, laying down the grooves and setting the tone for the afternoon.

But as the sun goes down and the real freaks come out to play, the Beatpie crew will be taking the reins and turning things up a notch as we head deep into the night.

DRESS CODE? Come as you are, come as someone else. Costumes, no costumes, weird and wonderful… we don’t care. Let your freak flag fly. This one’s for everyone.

📅 Saturday, October 31st
🏠 @thequivr Laneway
⏰ 2PM – MIDNIGHT

Two crews, one shared love of underground house music and a dancefloor full of good people. Just the way we like it.

See you freaks front left, under the disco ball. 🪩

As always, much love,

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT — BEANDIP 🌊

A staple of the Northern NSW and Southeast Queensland underground, Beandip has built a name around quality selections, versatility and a deep connection to dance music culture.

Moving through deep tech, UK garage, breakbeat, underground house and disco, his sets are built on groove, flow and reading the room properly.

As co-founder of After Midnight Sounds, Beandip has played across some of Australia’s most respected festivals and dance floors, including Splendour In The Grass, Falls Festival, Lost Paradise, Rabbits Eat Lettuce and S.A.S.H, while supporting names like Chris Stussy, PAWSA, FISHER, Latmun and Rebūke.

We’re stoked to welcome Beandip to HighTide Sounds.

Finally home after a long week building and playing at @secret_valley_festival
Thanks to @matty_teague @melbambi__ @alexludlow and everyone else who chipped in to help create such a beautiful event.
This was by far the biggest festival build I have been involved in, the timber work was challenging but with @c.razy_g.ypsy and @kaiwilder help we got it done. Also the rope lads @eric_pierce217 and @tomdownundah for helping rig everything up to get our massive stage pieces into place, couldn’t have done it without you guys.

Also all the djs and stage performers over the weekend were incredible thanks to @calebjacks.on for curating the music and @rubyderouge for sorting all the stage performances 🙏

Everywhere you looked people were smiling and up to mischief.
Set video recording coming soon.
Now time for some much needed rest. by @bean__dip
