another Camp Fierce in the books!! i was able to have the opportunity to be a Junior Team leader instead of a camper. It was weird not participating as a camper, but i was able to help the girls going from learning nothing to learning so much. I came into camp fierce not knowing a lot. Camp Fierce has helped me build my confidence and skills. They have showed me that women can work in male dominant fields and be so badass while doing it. I think all women should be shown that, yes, working in a male dominant field is scary and intimidating, but it’s also very rewarding, and you are able to do what whatever you put your mind to no matter what anyone says to you. i’m so blessed to have the ability to be able to attend and help other women learn. i will say if you are thinking about joining the fire service or not sure but want to see how it is, i suggest going to get experience and see first hand how/what some of the things that are done. i’m so happy i was able to make it again this year and can’t wait for next year!! 🚒💪 taken in Tahlequah, Oklahoma by @bean_walker

I wanted to give a HUGE thanks to Pea Ridge Fire Department for my scholarship!

Two years ago I was going on my first ride along with the fire department. I was nervous but also excited. But the team was welcoming and super nice. I rode along with them until I started volunteering in January 26’. I can’t wait to see where this career takes me. Thank you PRFD for all the opportunities you have given me! taken in Pea Ridge High School by @bean_walker
