I meditate on the meaning of work often.

It's funny how service can feel like going to war some days, but the flexibility allows me to dive deeper into my practice.

Conversations find ways to inform what I make. I choose to approach hospitality with kindness. The small act of caffeinating someone can change their mood or even day, & it feels like a positive contribution.

I applaud the 'cool girls with cool jobs'.

However there's nothing wrong with a day job you enjoy & reserves your mental stamina for the demand of an art practice.

If you would like to see some of my newest pieces I've made in my time off as well as others in ATL's hospitality community, be sure to check out:

I have been trying to figure out why I find a beverage so rewarding.

I've decided it's because it's a respite.

Something we all deserve.

I've been lucky to find it in the ice cold drinks, some much-needed time away, & in the company of extraordinary people.

As the summer reaches sunset, I hope you find your reprieve ~ 💖🌅 taken in Panama City Beach, Florida by @beanbevy
