“Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’ ””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24‬:‭1‬-‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Now Pilate wrote a title and put it on the cross. And the writing was: JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS.
John 19:19 NKJV

After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!” Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth. So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.”
‭‭John 28‬-‭30‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Thank you Lord Jesus Christ for enduring the world’s sufferings when we mocked you, despised you and murdered the only innocent man to ever walk among us. You are our God Lord and we have the Father only through you.

Lent, a time for believers to connect and grow closer with God & repent of sins. For 40 days, we fast in our life to realign our focus on God with repentance of our sins.

Take this time to repent of your own sins, not out of shame, but out of the grace the Father has for us through the Lord Jesus Christ. Give to others in a way that is meaningful. Grow closer to the Lord knowing the love He has for all through His sacrifice. Stay steadfast in prayer.

“Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted there by the devil. For forty days and forty nights he fasted and became very hungry. During that time the devil came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become loaves of bread.” But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ” Then the devil took him to the holy city, Jerusalem, to the highest point of the Temple, and said, “If you are the Son of God, jump off! For the Scriptures say, ‘He will order his angels to protect you. And they will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.’” Jesus responded, “The Scriptures also say, ‘You must not test the Lord your God.’” Next the devil took him to the peak of a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. “I will give it all to you,” he said, “if you will kneel down and worship me.” “Get out of here, Satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’ ” Then the devil went away, and angels came and took care of Jesus.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭1‬-‭11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Praise the LORD! 🙌🏽✝️

“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God. He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher. That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet this is no cause for shame, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬-‭12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“So, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, during the time of testing in the wilderness,”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭3‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”

Thank you Lord for allowing the temple you let me use in this life to be glorified in Your name. You blessed me with life from death. The least I can do is accept your grace and show the world my heart belongs to you. Allow me to spread the Good News for the Holy Spirit to transform them as you have me Lord. You renewed a heart of stone & made it a heart of flesh. Only something our God can do. Thank you Lord Jesus Christ my Savior. ✝️

All I can do is thank the Lord for cherished moments in life with my Pops. A man who allowed God to shine through him with all the life I know. From little me to now. It’s a blessing from the Lord to still have my grandfather in my life to enjoy. Thank you for being the best grandfather a boy & man could ask for! He’s a hustler in cornhole from his horse shoe days 🤣 beat me 4-0!
