my sweetest ruby,

i don’t know what i did to deserve a cat as precious as you, but i’m eternally grateful that you came into my life. there wasn’t a person who met you who didn’t instantly fall in love with you. you never shied away from a new face and never held back from spreading love and purrs. you never wanted anything more than love, cuddles, and the occasional whipped cream. even as you grew older and things got so much harder for you, i could always scoop you up into my lap, and everything would be okay. this is the hardest loss i’ve ever experienced, but i know that is because of how much you mattered to me and so many others. thank you for taking care of me through the hardest times of my life. thank you for being the angel that you are. i hope your soul is at peace, and i will always love you, my most special one. 🧡 by @bear_brickley
