Over and out!

The last year was a ride!

Better read on…
.
.
.
.

I found this book in a friend's house. It’s from 1960, published in the GDR and called “Little encyclopedia. The woman.”

It states that women in the socialists countries are equal to men and that equality is embodied in several laws. On the opposite, the situation of women in capitalistic countries are supposed to be not equal. In those countries it is often reasoned by the “old idea that women are often mentally inferior to men”.

Flipping to next page. (I will not commend on the absurd passage that “so called ugly women could win by charme and their heartly kind”. Its so ridiculous that it’s not worth the time to type this letters.)
But I want to talk about is… “As most of the women are more formable and adaptable, the sexual behaviour is often shaped and managed by the man. In the ideal case, however, there will be mutual coordination and understanding that will satisfy both sides.”

So the woman that was described one page before as equal is now characterised as “formable and adaptable” and that sexual relationships should be “in the ideal case mutual”.
Lets be clear: Women don’t need to be formed by anyone, at least by man!
And sexual interaction should be ALWAYS (listen and repeat: ALWAYS) consensual! By saying that it doesn’t matter if you’re a woman, man, part of LGBTQI+.

So what is this about? Today we often say just like this book suggests “Women are equal.” But if we take a step back we see that there are many loopholes in our society (and i don’t exclude myself here from that society) that show that women are not that equal as it seems at the first sights.

I want this to f***ing end. Let‘s question our roles, concepts and expectations. Let’s move on to real equality!

Going to Regionals nearly 10 months postpartum is more than impressive. But giving me a home when I needed it the most, is something I will never forget!
