I absolutely love this updated Thord figure!
Dwarves are my go-to in any fantasy setting and this guy is not only perfect, but he heightens my expectations for the possible companions I can build for him at this years Legions Con Armoury!

"Arethyr, wielder of Aetherblade. God of War".
.

This pose was inspired by the Sideshow statue we saw at Legions Con last year. My hope is to post something Mythic Legions related each week this month in anticipation of this year's Con... we'll see if it happens. 😂

I also could've sworn I took a BTS of this photo, but alas, I couldn't find it. Nothing revolutionary went into this one--tons of lights, smoke, and some cool practical smoke/fire effects I picked up from @flufferco , but I didn't do a great job of showing them off. 😬 They are amazing, though. I have some more photos planned out that will better do them justice.
Anyways, cheers! 🍻

"The Hunt for Gollum".

My first foray into photographing Inart's Aragorn figure. I have tried and failed many times, this shot actually started as a solo photograph and turned into what you now see...Aragorn and Gandalf teaming up to Hunt for Gollum. Hope you all dig it! Cheers! 🤘🏻🍻

Swipe<< for a janky BTS. 😂
My vision for the random parts at his sides was to create the effect of him about to go down a subway stairwell or something. Hopefully, it came off correctly.
Cheers! 🍻

‘I face you at last, my brother,’ said Guilliman.

Mortarion chuckled. ‘You make it sound as if you have brought me to heel, and will beat me in combat! After ten thousand years, you remain pompous. Look about you. I have you. I have won.’

‘You have not won yet.’

‘If this is not a victory,’ said Mortarion, ‘then I should probably consult one of your tedious manuals to better acquaint myself with the meaning of the term.’

‘It’s not over.’ Guilliman continued his efforts to free his arm while he spoke.

Mortarion glanced down at the Emperor’s sword. ‘Father gave you His blade, I see. Or did you take it off His dead knee? I suppose it matters not. You will not wield it against me.’

"Cave of Horrors."

After seeing The Odyssey (three times now), I was compelled and inspired to create something with a Cyclops.
Luckily for me, If ever I need a figure for a fantasy shot -Mythic Legions are the proverbial "man for all seasons".

Behold! Girded for battle, he comes to us now, in this, our darkest hour. The King!

Had a ton of fun with this one!
It was also made easy thanks to the various diorama pieces I had available to use.

I built this kitbash BvS Bruce Wayne a long time ago and I cannot for the life of me remember where I picked up the sculpt (I think it may be an E1even sculpt).

I took this photo earlier this year and while there are some things I'd do differently now, I'm still fairly pleased with it.
Hope you all dig it.
Cheers! 🍻

Hero, or murderous brigand?
.
.
.
This one was inspired by "The Death of Robin Hood".
Some of my favorite content since I was a wee lad has been fantasy, medievil Knights, & really anything in the realm of swords & shields.
So, mix that with the beautiful cinematography from the aforementioned film, and I was inspired to create something in that "realm".
Had fun with this one! Swipe for a b&w variant and a janky BTS. 😄🤘🏻🍻

A fun shoot I did awhile ago. Could've sworn I took a BTS, but it's lost in the vast sea of photos on my phone. Not that anyone would care, but I'll try to take more BTS photos in the future. Anyways, cheers! 🍻

Continuing my goal of replicating the Alex Ross art feel in photography form. It's a simple shot, but
definitely my favorite that I've taken so far. Hope you all dig it. Cheers!🍻
