Today, I’ve lost something truly irreplaceable. My Father, my Mentor, my friend and something in me broke in a way I don’t think will ever fully heal.

He wasn’t just my dad.
He was my compass. My anchor. My standard.
The one man I could always count on to be strong when I couldn’t be.
To believe in me when I didn’t believe in myself.
To remind me—quietly, consistently, and without fail—of who I really was.

He wasn’t loud about it.
He didn’t need to be.
His presence said enough. His actions said everything.

And now… there’s silence.
A silence so loud, it drowns out the world.

I don’t have the words to capture the man he was.
But if you knew him, you know. You know what kind of greatness can live in a quiet man. What kind of strength can exist behind soft eyes and calloused hands.

And if you didn’t know him—
Then I hope you see him in me.
In how I live. In how I love. In how I lead.
Because I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to live in a way that would make him proud to say, ‘That’s my son.’

I love you, Dad.
More than these words could ever hold.
And I will miss you every single day,
for the rest of my life. But I promise, no matter what happens. I WILL FINISH STRONG taken in Lexington Park, Maryland by @beardoeshard

I stood on stage this weekend with absolute giants.

To say I’m grateful for this moment is an understatement—it’s just the beginning. This experience has set a powerful precedent for everything that’s ahead. I know there’s work to be done, and I’m not wasting any time. The goal is clear: bring an even better package next year. We’re not waiting— the grind starts now. Appreciate all the love and support along the way.

Stay locked in, because this journey is far from over. 💪 #TransformationJourney #JustGettingStarted #KeepPushing #Grateful taken in Houston, Texas by @beardoeshard

I might delete this but. . .
I know I’ve been away for a while.
The last several weeks have been a lot. Life shifted on me pretty hard, some things I thought I had under control fell apart, my routines went to hell, my brain followed right behind them, and if I’m keeping it 100… I’ve just been trying to find my footing again.

Today I got home from work completely drained.
Not physically. Physically I was fine.
Mentally though? Several different layers of BLAH.
I knew I was supposed to go to the gym, but my brain was searching for every possible reason why today could be the day I didn’t.
I sat there for a while trying to fire myself up. Trying to negotiate with myself. Trying to find some motivation that honestly just wasn’t there.
Eventually I told myself, just get dressed.
That’s it. Don’t worry about the gym yet. Just put your clothes on. So I went to grab a shirt and, for whatever reason, I reached for one of my father’s old shirts that I kept after he passed. I put it on. Started getting myself together. Then I reached over to grab my phone that had been sitting on the charger…And out of nowhere, Spotify started playing.
Not some random playlist. The playlist I made for my father. And the song? “Iris” by the Goo Goo Dolls.
One of my dad’s favorite songs.
Man…
When I tell you the emotions that hit me in that moment.
I just stood there.Wearing his shirt. Already fighting with myself about whether I had enough in me to show up today…and suddenly I’m hearing one of his songs playing from a playlist I wasn’t even listening to.
You can call it coincidence if you want. I know what that moment felt like to me. My father spoke to me today.
Right when I needed him. And maybe he didn’t tell me anything I didn’t already know.Maybe the message was simply:Get up, son.
So I’m getting up. AGAIN

I don’t feel magically better. My problems didn’t disappear. My brain didn’t suddenly straighten itself out.
But I’m dressed. I’m going to the gym.And today, that’s enough.Show up. Do work.
Miss you, “BOSS”. More than I know how to explain. 🧡 by @beardoeshard

July doesn’t have to make sense for me to trust the One who already sees the full picture.
I’m releasing the pressure to have every answer, every plan, and every next step figured out. Some seasons may be more than I can carry on my own—but I was never meant to carry them alone.
Where my strength ends, His remains.
So this month, I’m choosing surrender over control, faith over fear, and obedience over certainty. Lord, whatever July holds, keep me close enough to remember that You are already there.

Growth can feel awkward.
Healing can feel unfamiliar.
Discipline can feel unnatural at first.

But that doesn’t mean something is wrong with you.
It may mean something old is losing its grip.
So before you quit, before you panic, before you convince yourself you’re falling apart…

Ask yourself: Am I actually breaking down?
Or am I being built into someone I’ve never had the courage to become?

Keep showing up.

Some days I’m not just dealing with regret.

I’m mourning time. Years I can’t get back.Moments I should’ve been more present for.Opportunities I talked myself out of.Promises I made to myself and didn’t keep.
Regret says, “I made mistakes.”
Grief says, “I lost time.”

But I refuse to let the weight of what I lost become the reason I lose even more. I can acknowledge the years.I can sit with the grief.I can own the mistakes.

But I can NOT stay down. taken in FGN Fitness by @beardoeshard

You become who you are by the choices you make when no one is around.

Not the version of you that talks about change. Not the version of you that makes the plan. Not even the version of you that feels motivated for a few days.

The small choices build the real version of you.

The walk. The workout. The meal. The prayer. The promise you keep when quitting would be easier.

I’m learning that becoming better doesn’t start with a perfect life.

It starts with deciding who you’re going to be today…

Then, give that decision evidence. taken in FGN Fitness by @beardoeshard

Faith doesn’t mean sitting still while waiting for the wind to change. It means trusting His direction while putting your hands to the work. Pray for guidance.Move with obedience.
God can open the water, but you still have to step in.

I put this off all day so I wouldn’t have to sit with the feelings of emptiness and emotions that were inevitable, yet I refuse to allow this day to pass without honoring my Hero, My Father. . .

A year ago, I lost my father, and today carries a weight I still don’t know how to fully explain.
Father’s Day feels different now. It feels quiet. Heavy. Unfinished. It reminds me of everything I still wish I could say, every moment I wish I could have back, and every picture I wish we had taken together.
The truth is, I don’t always handle grief well. Sometimes when life gets hard, I retreat. I disappear. I get quiet. I try not to feel it all at once because the weight of it can be too much.
But even in that, I still honor you.
I honor the man you were. I honor the love you gave. I honor the lessons, the presence, the sacrifices, and the parts of you that still live in me.
We didn’t take many pictures together, but I’m grateful for what I have. And today, I’m grateful that this picture gives me something I’ve been missing — a moment beside you.
Happy Father’s Day, “BOSS”.

God, I don’t know what You’re doing in this season, but I trust that You do.
When the path feels unclear, teach me to stop begging for certainty and start building deeper faith. Remind me that uncertainty does not mean You are absent. It means I have another opportunity to trust You beyond what I can see.
I may not have every answer, but I still have You.
And that is enough. taken in FGN Fitness by @beardoeshard

Not everything I’m healing from needs to be named publicly. Some moments are just between me and God.
