I wish he played all his years at Arizona 🤣🐻⬇️🏀 Mark Lyons one of the coldest I seen do it in Tucson point blank ‼️ @onlymoog after average 15.6 PPG (led team) 2.8apg 1.1 SPG in the NCAA tournament he went up another level to 24.3 PPG on 59% FG on a run to the sweet sixteen. The Florida game winner lives forever and so does Mark Lyons in the desert 🌵 🐻⬇️🏀 #marklyons #arizonawildcats #beardown #schenectady #xavier taken in McKale Center by @beardownhoops

Google says Channing Frye @channingfrye Arizona Wildcats career high was 25 (go google it) 🤣 but I VIVIDLY remember him giving Washington 30 on their senior night. He was getting compared to Tim Duncan back then 🔥🔥🔥🔥‼️🐻⬇️🏀 #channingfrye #arizonawildcats #beardown #universityofarizona #ncaabasketball by @beardownhoops

1996-97 was WILD. 🏀🐻⬇️

30 seasons ago, Lute Olson and the Arizona Wildcats went on one of the most unforgettable runs in NCAA Tournament history.

🏆 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS.

And they did it the hard way, taking down THREE No. 1 seeds on the road to the title:

Kansas.
North Carolina.
Kentucky. 😳

No team had ever done that.

Today, members of that legendary 1996–97 team return to McKale Center for the Red Blue Showcase as Arizona celebrates the 30th anniversary of the program’s first NCAA National Championship. 🌵

A.J. Bramlett, Bennett Davison, Eugene Edgerson, Mike Bibby and the legends will be there.

30 years later, the memories still hit different in Tucson.

1997 belongs to them forever. 🏆

Aaron craft was probably the best on ball defender during our era to the media, But I knew personally I wasn’t them other dudes RESPECTFULLY! Played a better version of him everyday going against @tjmcconnell so I was heavily prepared to kick ass! #basketball #fyp #reels #explore #nba by @beardownhoops
