What a way to finish off September by visiting The Academy Museum's newest exhibit, THE HORROR SHOW!!!! @academymuseum

What a terrifyingly exciting adventure with my good friend, @bearitonebear . Until the next one!🎃

Friday night, The Little Mermaid cast had the honor of meeting the co-writer and co-director of the 1989 "The Little Mermaid", John Musker! He was kind enough to meet everyone and share some stories about the behind the scenes I have never heard of before! Particularly the original format of the Les Poissons scene pitched by Howard Ashman!

Speaking of Howard Ashman, Musker told me Howard Ashman would have loved my interpretation and performance. Obviously, this is a wonderful compliment but as a queer person, those words carry such weight. Howard Ashman has always been someone I have looked up to and his words have always gone straight to my heart. Words that have inspired and touched generations of queer folks. I'm so glad that my silly little performance has honored his memory and work. ❤️🏳️‍🌈 by @bearitonebear
