Happy New Year to all my friends, customers, and family!

Thank you for every bit of support you've shown while I’ve cooked my way through my 20s and 30s. A few months ago, I stepped away from the professional kitchen to pursue a new career, but, my love for food hasn’t gone anywhere. Bear’s Catering Company is where I get to keep that passion alive.

Now that I’m no longer tied to any food businesses, I finally feel free to create without stepping on anyone’s toes. It’s just me, my recipes, and the joy of sharing good food.

I’m starting small, selling my cakes and sweet treats at markets and small events. I’ve got weekends free now, so I’m ready to be part of the local scene. If you know of any markets I can join or how to get involved, I’d be grateful for the guidance.

If you run a business and want to stock some of my bakes, I’d love to chat. I’m open to collaborations and supplying tasty treats that make people smile.

I’ll begin with cakes and desserts, but I’ve got plans for pop-up kitchens serving up some proper savoury snacks. That’ll come in time, once I’ve built up the funds and the setup to do it right.

I’m not here to compete. I just want to be part of the catering family, doing my own thing, sharing what I love, and learning along the way.

Thanks again for being part of this journey.
Much love,

James

Bear's officially started a year ago this week.
What a great start. A pop up kitchen in @jonesbarmumbles with a little help from a good friend @summit_good . 🍔🍗🍟
Since then it's been a great beginning to my own cooking adventure.
Big shout out to @the_hass for my perfect design. Man has got skills. Look him up.
A Wedding cake for The Rimmel's ❤🍪
A fair few different types of buffets for parties. 🥪🧀🍄🌮🍄🥑
Christmas cakes!! Special thanks to (Simon and Bell for the amazing order) and all the countless trays of brownies I made for everyone else who was kind enough to buy some! 🙂🍰🍫🎂
This is a thank you to everyone who helped and made my first year of cooking alone so special. ✌🏻
Now, I'm taking a little life sabbatical and having some me time because hospitality is a crazy place. And sometimes you got to give it a break. But you never lose the love.
So I'll be back to everything I do in the summer. Stronger. Fully focused on making this my dream come true.
So again thank you everybody
