Come have Multiple Sclerosis with me today! This is my life every 28 days… What is Multiple Sclerosis (MS)? Multiple sclerosis is a condition where your immune system mistakenly attacks the protective covering of your nerves, disrupting how signals travel between your brain and body. Over time, this can cause symptoms like fatigue, numbness, vision changes, and problems with balance or coordination. HOORAY SCIENCE! by @beasleyceramics

Did you know… I am an authorized L&L kiln (@hotkilns) distributor!! These are the absolute best electric kilns on the market. They have a competitive 3-year warranty, do not require element pins (which makes the softbrick last MUCH longer), and use the highest quality electrical components available. As a professional artist, I have owned three different styles of L&L kilns during my career and can say with certainty they are WORKHORSES!

So, like the song goes, “you got a friend in me!” When you are ready to start unlocking the true potential of the kiln fired arts, please reach out to me so we can setup a consultation on how to acquire these amazing kilns.

Cheers!

In this series I challenge my friend Beasley and myself to make increasingly ridiculous pottery tasks and then seeing if we can actually pull them off.

For this one, we’re making a pumpkin casserole dish. Brett handled the form, and now I’m sculpting the stem and leaves to bring the whole thing together.

Next up: spider bowls. Obviously.

Give us a follow to see how the finished pumpkin casserole turns out, and check out our next challenge! #Fall #soupseason #potteryofinstagram #clemsonsc #pumpkin by @beasleyceramics

My bff Brett and I have a working on our pots for . “God damnit, Kimberly” where I challenge him to do wild things. Currently he is throwing a 6lb casserole dish shaped like a pumpkin so I can sculpt the stem and leaves! I love that single pull on this object! Just beautiful. Follow us for further updates!! #pottery #fall #soupseason #clay #thrownonaskutt by @beasleyceramics

Part two of “God Damnit, Kimberly” Brett makes the pumpkin crock base with @rockymountainclay ! He absolutely blew me away with this. We’ll post the tutorial on how he threw them separately. But check out how he added those pumpkin divots at the end! I guess I’ve got to get to sculpting those stems and leaves!! #Fall #thrownonaskutt #pottery #ceramicpumpkins #soupseason by @beasleyceramics

I am honored that we get to share this timeline together. You have supported me in more ways that I can count and I hope you feel the same from me. HUGE shout out to my incredible wife, Jessy Beasley (@jessy_bzly) who continues to surprise me with how kind, loving and protective she is of our friends, family and animals we care for. If you have had the opportunity to get to know her over the years, you know exactly what I mean. I could write a book just bragging on how amazing she is… if you know, you know!

I’ve been working hard in my studio and many of YOUR studios to make pots, fix kilns and much more. Thanks to Taylor (@claybytay) for the MASSIVE bisqueware order…. 1,000 mugs!!!!! Thank you to Eva (@sweetstrawberrystudios) for being an INCREDIBLE summer studio assistant. Punctual, reliable, clear communicator and always brings a positive attitude, I give you a gold star! Thanks to the whole crew at Rico Industries who we continue to make amazing things with together. Special shout-out to Drew (@drewdlebug) who keeps all the moving parts functioning with a smile. Thank you Jules (@lakelismorepottery) for allowing me to make you bisqueware for your studio needs, always a pleasure working with you! Thanks to EVERYONE who buys my wholesale Beasley Ceramics work. I appreciate each and every one of you! Thanks to L&L kilns (@hotkilns) for making an incredibly well-designed electric kiln that makes servicing and install them a breeze. And thanks to my friend Kimberly (@magpieartsllc) who brings consistent joy and happiness to the world in so many ways—in the classroom, in the studio, through the rainbow of glaze, clay and underglazes she sells and the fabulous artwork she creates.

I could go on and on about how many amazing people are in my life, but I will stop here. We have built all these relationships TOGETHER and just like anything worth having, it takes time and care to nurture them and let them grow.

Three cheers to you if you read all that! Thank you all for helping us get through this odd thing called life.

❤️

I challenged my “much more talented than me” friend Brett to throw his mini pumpkin in less than 60 seconds. Spoilers. He crushed it after I stopped shooting 😵‍💫 #fall #pumpkinspice #pottery #thrownonaskutt by @beasleyceramics
