A look back on Beatrice's first trip around the sun, discovering life, bringing joy, and spreading love. by @beatricethepinkcorgi

Less than a week from a full revolution around the sun for Beatrice. What a wonderful, exciting year of discovering life on earth with her. 🥰 by @beatricethepinkcorgi

Some recent captures while on walkies with Beatrice. 🥰 This girl is just the absolute best.

Sorry, not sorry. 😬 by @beatricethepinkcorgi

Beatrice has the most fun yesterday! A 7 hour playdate with bestie Dahlia and a side quest romp with friend Adora during our evening walk!

1: Beatrice latched onto Dahlia's mane almost instantly when Dahlia got to our home.
2: Adora liked to straddle Beatrice completely since her legs are so long and Beatrice is so short. 🥹
3. Beatrice and Dahlia, two happy and tired pups after play romp with Adora. 🥰 by @beatricethepinkcorgi

Random adventure morning with Baby Bea. Smiles were had. Friends were made. Temperature finally in the low 60s in the morning. Really wonderful start to the day. 🩷 by @beatricethepinkcorgi

I found one of my favorite diseases on our early morning walk! Since I feel like my love for plant diseases and my love for dogs are at the center of my identity, I had to get some pics of Beatrice with this beautiful plant disease. 😅 by @beatricethepinkcorgi

Beatrice absolutely adores Dahlia. Given the frequency in which she gets to see Dahlia, I think Dahlia definitely qualifies as her best friend. If Beatrice had to choose between me or Dahlia, she'd pick Dahlia. Funny thing is, I think Dahlia would pick me. And I would pick Beatrice. So, I think this song is the theme song for when the three of us are together. 😅

Anyone else feel this way about their dog? Or is it just me? 🥲 by @beatricethepinkcorgi

Beatrice carried her no-hide chew (grilled cheese flavor) all the way home from @treatsonaleash this morning (and I carried my iced latte from @morningbellcoffeeroasters home, too!) we're both very capable girlies living our best lives and enjoying a reprieve from the heat and rain that we've had in Iowa the past week. by @beatricethepinkcorgi

Sleepy sleepy puppy after her first mini camping trip (swipe for a couple of pics).

Puppy's first campfire 🔥

We stayed at a hike-in site. So many smells! So much adventure! by @beatricethepinkcorgi

I found a sphynx moth in the grass near where Beatrice had set down her stick for a break on our walk yesterday. I wasn't sure if it was dead or stuck in the grass. Im working on my bravery with lepidoptera species (I'm braver with butterflies than moths). So I used the stick to help the moth out of the grass.

Beatrice was very curious. The moth kept falling off the stick, back into the grass. Beatrice really wanted to play with it. Just before I took this video, she was rolling around on her back in the way she does when she's trying to get dogs to play with her. 🥹

This little girl is so gentle and sweet. I can't wait for her to meet a butterfly. 🩷 by @beatricethepinkcorgi

Riding in style. 😎

A month or so ago I started taking Beatrice to our nightly dog hang in the bike trailer, because "walking" home after dogs had become carrying, dragging, silly dancing to get her to move. And I was tired of it. Haha. This has honestly worked beautifully and it's really a fun way to get her around to the places we go, especially when it's really warm out. by @beatricethepinkcorgi
