Some legacies are built over a decade. Others are built the moment someone decides the mission matters more than recognition. Beatrix Pollack’s Frontline OCR career may be shorter than some of the other legends on this list, but impact has never been measured by time alone. Bea stood on the Endurance podium three times, highlighted by her first-place finish in 2022. But her story was never simply about winning a race or earning a place on the podium. She came to prove something—to herself, but also for something greater than herself. That is the heart of Frontline. The mission extends beyond personal accomplishment. It is found in the willingness to fight for a cause, stand beside a team, or honor a uniform the way the men and women this race represents defend a country. And refusing to retreat when the ideals behind those things have been disrespected. Bea carried that purpose onto the course. Every mile, every obstacle and every moment of suffering meant something beyond the finish line. When Bea hit that final bell after 18 miles of purpose built obstacles and carefully crafted technical terrain, a statement was made that rings true about our brand. Stand tall. Stand Proud. She has often told us that she loves our low rigs, which is typically the obstacle that destroys the most dreams for competitive racers. But not for Bea. She not only enjoys the more challenging obstacles, but she usually is crushing them multiple times while running multiple laps. And she does it with a smile. She's earned podiums at races like Frontline, Indian Mud Run, Savage, Mythic Race, and more, both Overall and in her age group. @savagerace Chicago was one rainy race with some very slippery obstacles.
