One last time for 2026. 👽🚀

Secret Sessions returns Saturday, November 14, for our final gathering of the year! We’re bringing the BFG fam together for a night of live beats, good people, and the community that makes it all possible.

Expect a sick lineup of guest producers, followed by an Open Aux jam session. Bring some beats you’ve been working on, connect with fellow creatives, and help us close out the year with love.

Before we break for the holidays, let’s get the whole family in the building. See you there!

Our September 26 Secret Sessions brought together live beats, sci-fi visuals, and a room full of good people. A lot of new faces were in the building alongside our OG supporters, sharing in what BFG is all about: community, creativity, and connection.

Big shout out to @wavegoddesssb , @iamoliverlastname , @donjuandesparko , @dukewestlake , and @ezra_ost for dropping the sickest vibes! Much love to everyone who plugged in for the Open Aux jam session and shared what they’ve been working on.

And, as always, big thanks to our @garnishmusic fam for giving us a place to call home. You all make this community possible, and you are all appreciated.

@lfty_lsy - Samuel

One of our OG supporters, lfty_lsy, returns after a little time away with his latest full-length project, Algebra_pt.2. If you’re into straight lo-fi vibes, this is one you can put on and completely immerse yourself in.
The project is packed with hard-knocking drums, syncopated rhythms, tape saturation, detuned samples, and all the things we appreciate.
One of my personal favorites is Samuel, a track I’ve kept in regular rotation since hearing the project. We even added that one to our official BFG playlist, so you already know where we stand on it.
As a full body of work, Algebra_pt.2 stays consistent and cohesive while giving you plenty to dig into. If you love lo-fi production, dusty textures, and drums that knock, this project is for you.

@lilbadsnacks - stargazer

Bad Snacks slows things down with her latest release, stargazer. This one immediately reminds me of the sound from when we first met Bad Snacks, around the time she was releasing projects like Neat Tape and Neat Tape 2. It’s more downtempo, more relaxed, and a nice little detour from some of the uptempo jams she’s been dropping lately.
stargazer is also part of a three-track release featuring two other singles we’ve previously highlighted, mercury and bang, bang. Together, the three tracks give you a nice glimpse into the different sides of Bad Snacks’ sound.
But let me tell you, stargazer is one of those tracks you just want to lay back and sink into. It’s sonically captivating, colorful, and filled with textures that give the track so much life. And of course, Bad Snacks goes crazy with the electric violin, weaving it into the production in a way that has become such a signature part of her sound.
Be sure to catch the sick beat switch-up during the breakdown around the 1:40 mark. It’s one of those moments that catches your ear immediately and gives the track another layer without taking away from the laid-back vibe.
Bad Snacks delivers as always, and we’re proud to know such an amazing artist and call her a friend. If you’ve been following her journey for a while, stargazer might bring back some familiar feelings while still showing where her sound is today.
Definitely dive into this one, and if you haven’t already, check out mercury and bang, bang while you’re at it. stargazer, the latest from Bad Snacks. Enjoy.
