JMisjustME @jmisjustme is a magnificent legend in his own right and has earned his 5-stars as a emcee general crushing stages and moving crowds since day-1: He doesn't just perform a set... he commands a room until it starts moving on his frequency.

Stacked flows, cadence that bends in ways you don't see coming, bars delivered with a magnetism that pulls the whole crowd in. That's the kind of skill that demands a world built specifically to hold it: which is exactly why curation matters as much to us as talent does. Every artist on our stage at "BEATS JUST BECAUSE" @beatsjustbecause gets chosen because their energy belongs inside the atmosphere we build, not just because they can fill a slot.

Warm light, layered color, a visual system moving in step with every rap verse, loop, hi-hats, kicks and snares: this is what happens when sound, light, and audio-visual world-building all get created and curated together... Some of you know it as "The SSWIII ("S-S-W-3") Experience"...

JMisjustME @jmjustmbrings that fire every single time. This is exactly why we keep the door open for the rap legend... 🎤🌌 Go check out his IG bio of links to all of his massive scale raps and beat projects. Definitely support and share with a friend because he's truly one of the dopest rappers to bless our show series with... especially for SHOW #0015!!!!!

Live and direct!!!!! The one and only STILL DO @_still_do brought in crazy heat from his funky beats and crazy rare grooves for SHOW #0015!!!!!

The room he was firing up from his funky beat set of magical-audio-eclectic wizardry: it was a world. Behind him, Switzon's colorful wild abstract 3D-rendered visuals (vj-loops): a signficant part of the visual system that he builds into every "Beats Just Because" show. It's all intentional: every producer who steps up gets a world built around their sound, so the atmosphere carries as much weight as the beat does.

This is the whole philosophy behind what we do here: the craft, the culture, and the visuals, moving together instead of sitting side by side. Eno-Obong is proof of what happens when he lights up the room with is beats and mesmerizing sample production. 🎛️🌌

Some of the most compelling moments at any live show never make it to the stage lights: they happen in the huddle, in the small adjustments and conversations that precede a set.

I think about this a lot in the context of what Beats Just Because actually is. It's easy to think of a show as a lineup: a lineup and its outcome. But the real value is in what happens around it: the community, the shared craft, the respect between people who've spent years getting good at something most audiences will never fully understand the technical depth of...

That's the standard we've tried to hold since day one at Beats Just Because @beatsjustbecause : building a stage where hip-hop production, sampling, and the culture behind it gets treated the way it deserves. taken in Boomtown Brewery by @beatsjustbecause

Eno-Obong @enoobong.00 dialed in something very unique and special with the same focus you'd expect from a live studio session, not a live show…. Eno's sound lives at the intersection of soul and precision, the kind of production that comes from someone who's spent more hours in the crates than most people spend scrolling their phone. Watching him work, even off-mic, tells you everything about the level he operates at.

The room he was firing up from his beats wasn't just a stage: it was a world. Eno-Obong @enoobong.00 doesn't perform for the room... he works his magic in it...

The joy of putting together these shows w/ my team: Jelani @smoothj.14 w/ extra support from “Da Ill Spot” @da_ill_spot , CEESEE aka “Feeelstyle” @feeelstyle , MOJAVE AIRPORT @mojaveairport , ROBOT MILLENNIUM @robotmillennium , TIM THE HOUSECAT aka “Afro-D” @mcafrod is historically cinematic and unforgettable…

It’s not just about the entertainment: it's creating and building a fun, strong loving creative community where it's also a platform for all artists to simply shine and get their art seen and music heard to the world of LA and beyond the airways to the streams and back IRL...

This is worth everything the @beatsjustbecause team and I work so hard on to give you the best experience ever: the decks, the visuals, the branding, the shows. Not just our vision to become part of this platform but an audio-visual playground designed and built just for you to enjoy, glow and grow from.

Show #0015 - 🎧 In this clip:

The transition from the end of MOJAVE AIRPORT's live set @mojaveairport to the 1-to-3 minute in-between-new-producer-live-set-up-break right before ENO - OBONG's @enoobong.00 live set w/ our good friend Pax @yaboypax in the mix of running sound. Biggups to Pax for keeping the sound going and helping us make sure the show between everybody's live sets went 1000% smoothly. Finding someone like this who also grew with us at Beats Just Because over the years besides our other good friend MATT.E.J. @matt.e.j + understanding and riding on the vision with us is truly rare and very special and we're all very grateful for them being apart of this whole great journey of shows together... taken in Boomtown Brewery by @beatsjustbecause

The most important thing about curating your own shows (especially music showcase events) for me, is that the sound and the atmosphere have to be built together, not bolted on after...

That's my main focus when I put together, produce and host my show series "Beats Just Because".

For Show #0015, one of our beloved day-1 great residents and good friend MOJAVE AIRPORT @mojaveairport opened with a magnificent magical dj-mix set that added more glow and wonder to the visual environment that I always visioned my visuals (vj-loops) to help create: heavy colorful abstract 3D motion that's also a sci-fi atmosphere with rich funky soulful soundscapes giving you a new world adding more meaning to the space.

This is my digital playground showing more of my ideas as a creator... the true "SSWIII experience" inviting other artists to participate and add more colors to my open palette on stage to also shine and share their own art and music to the world as well. This is where my work actually lives: the intersection of art direction, music, and environment design and Mojave Airport's live dj-set helped take it even further and higher...

📍 Our living room w/ Boomtown Brewery @boomtownbrewery

🎧 Opening live dj-set by DJ, Music Producer & Resident: MOJAVE AIRPORT @mojaveairport

🎤 Much love and respect goes to another special resident & day-to-day operations/marketing super hero - JELANI KIMBLE @smoothj.14 from "DA ILL SPOT" @da_ill_spot for helping the journey with these shows become better and better.
