Wow, where to begin…
I went to Glastonbury Festival with no expectations this year, only with a slight hope of DJing somewhere small if I was lucky.
So on Thursday afternoon @bbcintroducing do an Open Deck slot. I arrived and saw a massive queue so instantly bailed.
My wife @lucy_o_carey had other ideas so she queued, waited and received our raffle number for the tombola.
To my complete shock, my number was called out and I was 2nd up for a 15 minute DJ set 😳.
With no time to think, the next 20 minutes were a blur of DJs, photos, music and nerves (in a good way).
With my USB not working correctly, it wasn’t my best set, however I managed to put a few mixes together so overall really proud of myself.
Thank you to all my friends who made it there at such short notice raving front left as well as all the guys at BBC Introducing for the opportunity.
But the biggest thank you to my wife for putting my name down regardless of my stubbornness!!! 🙌🏼❤️🙏🏼 #glastonbury #glastonburyfestival #djcompetition #bestexperience #subfocus #cultureshock #festival #drumandbass #drumnbassmusic #opendeck #opendecks by @beau_son_
