Artist Spotlight: Kane's Grip

This week we're pointing the spotlight at one of the standout newcomers in Atlanta's metal scene- Kane's Grip.

Kane's Grip was formed after all four original members – Eric (drums), Felipe (guitar), Yifan (bass), and Chris (vocals) – found themselves living in the same area of Georgia in 2024. Eric, Yifan, and Felipe initially connected through the Metro Atlanta Metal Instagram page and began writing music together while searching for the right vocalist.
After a long and arduous search that included auditions from four different vocalists, the band found its missing piece in Chris. The result is the raw, unflinching sound of Kane's Grip: a metal project shaped by influences from three continents, delivering filthy sweeping riffs, skull-crushing rhythms, and screams that would make a banshee blush.

The band burst onto the scene in April 2026 with their debut performance at Blackstrap Rock Hall, and they haven't slowed down since.
In the last month alone, Kane's Grip released their latest single, "Demons Speak," announced their next live appearance, and returned to the studio to begin work on two new singles with producer John Douglass. Douglass has worked with heavyweights such as Job For A Cowboy, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Whitechapel, bringing over 15 years of production experience to the band's upcoming releases.

Catch Kane's Grip this Saturday, June 6, at Metal Mountain 3: Sharknado alongside $alamanderX (@salamander_x_atl ) Violence System (@violence_system ), and Derailer (@derailer_ga )at The Pub (@thepub_ellijay ) in Ellijay, Georgia.
