Our Solid Waste Operations team is now hauling resident tires using county staff and equipment. By transporting tires directly to the disposal facility, we're improving efficiency while reducing operational costs. This change helps limit expenses to disposal fees only, allowing us to make better use of county resources while continuing to provide responsible tire management services. by @beaufortcountysc

Residents and visitors are always welcome on our beaches but litter and abandoned beach equipment are not. Items like chairs, toys, and trash left behind can harm wildlife, prevent shorebird nesting, and wash into our waterways, where plastics last forever. Please remind friends, family, and tourists to take all beach gear home at the end of the day. With the 70th Beaufort Water Festival starting this weekend, let’s work together to keep our sandbars and shorelines clean.Make memories, not messes.Pack it in, pack it out. by @beaufortcountysc
