I’m home. Home, after a year on tour with the First National tour of the Broadway musical - THE NOTEBOOK.
This past year, y’all - the hardest thing I have ever done, no question. And absolutely one of the most fulfilling, most beautiful years of my long life.
Noah was a gift, and he was a great guy to play for a solid year. I never grew tired of it. Of him.
And he taught me much - about patience, about love, about persistence. I am grateful for the beautiful cast, the crew, the staff. Beautiful, generous human beings.
So here’s a HUGE thank you to you all - good friends, amazingly talented people. All my love -
I will always cherish my year with THE NOTEBOOK.
And now, back in NYC and CT.
With Debbie. With the kids. With friends and family.
I think I’m gonna take a few weeks and visit various sofas in my house.
But after that, I wanna see you.
Yes? Call me. Text me. Come over.
I’m home. by @beaugravitte

It worked out! I'm on a break from THE NOTEBOOK tour. Debbie had a night off from JUST IN TIME. And so, most importantly, we were able to be there for Sam's opening night of A WALK ON THE MOON.
Such a treat, to be with Debbie, watching our son do his thing. (He's good, y'all. Really good)

30 years ago today, this remarkable woman brought our twins into the world, and - who knew? - made my life richer than I ever imagined, or frankly, deserved.

Happy Birthday, Sam!
Happy Birthday, Ellie!

THANK YOU TO OUR EXTRAORDINARY LEADER
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Beau Gravitte. Words cannot express how grateful we are to you for your ongoing commitment, love, support, talent, and extraordinary leadership.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Beau has served as our Artistic Director since 2017. His term will end as of mid-June, 2023.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
From Beau:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“This journey has been the most rewarding period of my life. The best part - the relationships I've built with you guys - that's what I hold onto, and that's not going anywhere. I will be around, involved, and available. I will lend my full support to whoever succeeds me - the only thing that matters, truly, is that the Actors Studio moves forward into a healthy, vigorous, and inclusive future. The next 75 years look pretty good, to me.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am so proud of how the Studio membership navigated the dark days of the Pandemic. If anything, we became closer, more unified, certainly more aware of each other, and even more grateful for this place we all love. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to all the members who stepped up to lead, make sure we were connected, that we were not alone, as we faced those unprecedented challenges - together.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I must also thank our Presidents - Mr. Pacino, Mr. Baldwin, and in particular, Ellen Burstyn, who was in the trenches with me from the very beginning. I am a better man, a better father, a better husband, and a better leader because of your guidance, your support, and your wisdom. Thank you.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We will be excited to announce Beau’s successor in the coming months. In the meantime, happy Summer and we will see you all back at the Studio in September!

Before it closes ....
I went to the opening night of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF at the Chicago Lyric Opera two weeks ago. It was a revelation. I know we've all seen FIDDLER a million times, but ... not like this. Barry Kosky, the director, is a genius. Stephen Skybell is one of the most generous actors I've ever seen. And the woman who plays Golde ... shows promise.
A true creature of the stage, Debbie brings such truth with her in this role. It is undeniable. And so powerful.
Oh, and yeah, she sings a little.
So proud of you, honey. Have a fabulous last week - by @beaugravitte
