This Saturday!!

I am hosting a zine workshop @hereatindigo with @merseysidequeermarkets on Saturday 17th October!
It will be really free flowing, but the hope is to add to the Indigo Zine Library and make it all cool and full of queer zines!

Digital doodle page!

What is a digital doodle page? When I am feeling stuck or need a warm up I open a blank canvas and have a little draw before I start, this one is from March - May, while I was creating illustrations for my degree. It was a good escape for a moment.

What are your favourite parts?

#digitalartist #whimsy #natureillustration #whimsyillustration #digitalillustration From top left to bottom right: a rabbit in a jumping pose surrounded by stars and the words “stay magical”, a pansy flower with text that says “silly pansy”, a moon with a human face with the lyrics “hey moon, please forget to fall down”, a reference to panic at the disco’s song “northern downpour”, a strawberry plant or vine with lady birds on either side, an owl with a human face with the text “you: you better not be a c*nty owl when I get there me af:”, a blue death feigning beetle labled as such, a moth fly, a tall flower, a sword wrapped in ivy and a skeletal hand in a decorative frame. by @beaukay.illus

After a long month or fixing the things inside my head and organising the thing outside my head, I am back with my stuff on my shelf!

Kraken Comics, based in Bebington, Wirral, is a independent comic shop. They also support artists by letting us use their precious wall space to sell our wares.
There should be more stuff soon, just watch this space!!

What would you buy?

Recent commission done for Key

Characters are Pocky and Swizzle in a pose similar to one from the TV show Amphibia (see last slide for reference)

I had a lot of fun drawing these two lovely characters as it helped me expand out from my usual subjects. So if you were worried that I may not be able to take on a commission because your character, just reach out with any questions!
