hey chat… it’s been a while. i’ve been working. 🤍

A year ago, I didn’t match immediately into residency. At the time, it felt like a setback, but it ended up being one of the greatest blessings of my career. My specialty internship challenged me, stretched me, and helped me grow. Not to mention the amazing friends, mentors, and family I made at 5025 Wisconsin Ave NW (iykyk).

I trusted God’s timing, kept showing up, and today I’m beyond grateful to say I started my Small Animal Internal Medicine Residency at my #1 program choice— NC State. 🐺❤️#GoPack

There was a time I could only believe God for this moment. Today, I get to live it. Orientation is over, and it’s time to hit the clinic floor! Just know, medicine and I go together REAL bad ✨✨.

To anyone facing a detour: keep going. The path may look different than you imagined, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t leading exactly where you’re meant to be. by @beautiesdefinition

Too good to let go 🖤 by @beautiesdefinition

A picture couldn’t capture the moment. You just had to be there 💗💗.

Entering Chapter 27 reminded me that beauty is fleeting and material things fade, but life, love, and friendship are truly priceless. I am so blessed. by @beautiesdefinition

Reminiscing ❤️

One month into working as a veterinarian and life as an intern. It still feels unreal. A gentle reminder that I’m living in an answered prayer 🙏🏽 . by @beautiesdefinition

Life Update: I became a DOCTOR 🐾.

January: Licensed.
March: Matched.
May: Graduated.

These last 6 months have been so fulfilling. From passing my boards examination on my first try to matching to my #1 choice, and needless to say, becoming Dr. Ana Marie Ryan. Every single prayer answered and all that I can say is thank you Lord. Thank you for granting the desires of my heart. Thank you for calling me to this amazing profession. I reminded myself everyday that you commanded me to be here. I will never forget it. Thank you for keeping me hidden so you could mold me, grow me, and prepare me for my next chapter. All glory and honor goes to you ❤️.
