Unfortunately, only 3 survived. This is the Fig Tree Pride in the Masai Mara, where 2 lionesses were forced to keep moving with 6 cubs as rival males pushed into their territory. Lionesses in a pride often raise cubs together, sharing protection, vigilance, and sometimes even nursing, which makes the loss of cubs a tragedy felt across the group, not just by one mother. By the end of this chapter, half the cubs were gone, a brutal reminder of how life in the wild is shaped by pressure, instinct, and survival. What remains is a powerful portrait of maternal strength, cooperation, and endurance.

This looks like it’s straight out of a film 🦌

Qingshan Lake in Hangzhou is famous for its flooded cypress forest, where bright green duckweed blankets the water and towering trees create one of China’s most unique landscapes. Just when we thought this couldn’t get any more magical, her baby appeared!

Stretching across nearly 20,000 square kilometres of northeastern South Africa, Kruger is one of Africa’s largest and most important protected areas, home to an extraordinary diversity of wildlife, including the Big Five.

A mountain range in Peru that looks almost painted ⛰️

Pallay Punchu is one of Peru’s most remarkable natural landscapes, known for its colourful striped ridges that rise high above the Andes and seem almost too vibrant to be real.

Located in the Cusco region, the mountain’s unique colours were formed over millions of years by layers of mineral-rich rock. Reaching the summit comes with sweeping views across the surrounding valleys, lakes and dramatic peaks.

For a few weeks each year, parts of Japan begin to glow ✨

Every summer, forests and rivers across Kyushu begin to glow as thousands of fireflies appear after sunset, creating one of the most magical natural experiences in Japan.

For just a few short weeks each year, quiet pathways, streams and countryside landscapes are lit up by tiny flashes of light moving through the dark. Seeing it in person feels less like reality and more like stepping into another world entirely.

One of the most beautiful reminders of how incredible nature can be.

Similan Islands are a protected group of islands in the Andaman Sea, known for their bright turquoise water, white sand beaches and incredible marine life.

Popular for snorkeling and diving, the islands are surrounded by coral reefs filled with tropical fish, while the coastline is covered in huge granite rock formations and untouched beaches that feel completely remote.
