I am a Canadian Educator for Cartessa Aesthetics!! 🇨🇦

This is such a full-circle moment for me. After 19 years in Medical Aesthetics, countless hours of hands-on experience, and a deep commitment to continued education, I’ve been given the opportunity to help train and mentor other providers across Canada using some of the most advanced technology in our industry.

One of the biggest reasons I aligned myself with Cartessa—especially their CO₂ technology—is because of how advanced and results-driven it is. After extensive research and hands-on experience with multiple modalities, I chose their CO₂ platform because it delivers powerful results while prioritizing skin integrity and minimizing risks often seen with more fully ablative treatments. WHY I HAND PICKED THESE TWO POWER HOUSE DEVICES? 🤍

After just under 20 years in the medical aesthetics industry, I’ve had the opportunity to watch this industry completely transform.

I remember when laser treatments and medical aesthetics almost felt like a secret. Now, it has grown into one of the most sought-after industries with new devices, technologies and treatments constantly entering the market.

And I’ve evolved right along with it.

Over the years, I’ve worked with many different machines, platforms and technologies. I’ve seen what sounds impressive in marketing, what looks great on paper… and, most importantly, what actually delivers when there’s a real client sitting in front of me, needing results and worth your penny!

That experience is exactly why I chose the Sciton Joule with BBL and the DEKA SmartXide Tetra CO₂ for my practice.

I didn’t choose equipment because it was cheap, new or trendy. I chose technology I trust because I’ve seen what it can do.

Between these two platforms, I’m able to address so many of the concerns I see every day — pigmentation, sun damage, redness, vascular concerns, acne, uneven skin tone and texture, fine lines, wrinkles, skin laxity, scarring and overall skin rejuvenation.

But great technology is only part of the equation.

Knowing when to use it, how to use it, who is an appropriate candidate and when combining modalities will create a better outcome comes from years of education and hands-on experience.

☀️ Summer is officially here — and so is strong UV exposure.

A friendly reminder: if you’re investing in your skin with laser treatments, protecting that investment matters just as much as the treatment itself.

Post-laser skin is more vulnerable to UV damage, which can lead to unwanted pigmentation, prolonged redness, and compromised results.

My summer non-negotiables:
✔️ Wear a mineral-based SPF daily
✔️ Reapply every 2 hours when outdoors
✔️ Wear a wide-brim hat
✔️ Seek shade whenever possible
