Nov. 5 11AM – 8PM Fri. Nov. 6 11AM – 8PM Sat. Nov. 7 11AM – 6PM Sun. Nov.8 12PM – 4PM RENATA PODLOG Pottery is a lifelong passion for Renata, having spent more than three decades teaching, exploring and experimenting in porcelain and stoneware. Renata is continuously developing an ever-expanding repertoire of styles and designs, culminating in an unprecedented collection of works. She has also conducted pottery restoration in the Middle East, with a focus on Middle Bronze Era (5,000 years) pottery. MEISH PODLOG A long-time worker of wood, Meish shifted from cabinetry to lathe work – working in both vertical and horizonal dimensions. Using domestic woods gathered from backyards and from the bush, Meish tries to maximize the visual impact of the grain, colour and structure unique to each piece of wood – much like a sculptor searching for hidden form in each stone. He also served as lead negotiator of land claims for both Indigenous peoples and for the Government of Ontario over three decades. #pottery #woodwork #torontoartistsofinstagram by @beaverhallgallery

Cross-pollination. From there to here. Sept. 2nd -7th, 11am – 6pm Monday Sept. 7th, 11am – 3pm Works by: Dianne Beauregard Eva Ennist Michelle Kosoy Pamela Mayhew Glorianne Naiman Julie Seddon The way ideas fly across artworks in a space, feed and nurture ideas and practices amongst artist friends and the connections we each have to Toronto while we live in the magic that is Prince Edward County. Nodding to the importance of living in an ecosystem, human and non-human. To recognize that to thrive we must not only co-exist but collaborate both with nature and with each other. Also, that if we let our instincts drive us beyond ourselves and to others, what we pick up and deposit transforms us all. #artexhibition #artgallery #torontoartist by @beaverhallgallery

Pananglagip Jonathan Andrew B. Taala June 18-June 30 2026, 12pm-6pm Opening Reception: Friday June 19, 6pm-9pm Artist Statement: The work began over a decade ago with a simple observation; I’m getting older and so are my parents. I began photographing them as a way of bearing witness to their ongoing process of aging. Four years into making photographs, my father was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. I continued to photograph him during this time, thinking about how his absence would affect me. Less than three years later, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, he passed away. I began to think about how I didn’t know much about him as a person, aside from the fact that he was my father. It made me reflect on who my father was and what choices he made in life that affected the outcome of who I am today as a second generation Filipino American. I felt compelled to learn more about him as my way of processing grief. Pananglagip is an Ilocano word that encompasses the active process of remembering through ritual. Through the use of photographs, ephemera, and the passing down of oral history, I construct a material narrative that keeps the memory of my late father alive as a way to navigate family history and situate myself within diaspora. Using the color carbon printing process, which relies on manually registering layers of pigmented gelatin on paper to make a print, each photograph is slowly built by hand making each print a ritual of remembrance. @docnowfestival #artexhibitions #torontoartist #artopening #documentaryphotography by @beaverhallgallery
Meet in the Middle (Sresti u Sredini) Amelia Sopta June 3rd – 15th, 2026, 12–6 PM Opening Reception: Wednesday June 3rd, 6–9 PM Meet in the Middle (Sresti u Sredini) documents contemporary Bosnia and Herzegovina and the ways in which it is left fragmented by and tethered to its past. Although thirty years have passed since the Yugoslav wars, this nation continues to face seemingly never-ending political, religious and ethnic tensions. The history of Bosnia and Herzegovina is complex, still unfolding and often overlooked. Western audiences are used to seeing the photographs taken amidst the war or directly after. This series examines what remains long after the world has looked away. It is not just about Bosnia and Herzegovina, but about the human condition and the ways in which this nation’s inhabitants carry on and seek to persist, without the guarantee of ever being whole. There is a dissonance surrounding these images that I also felt while photographing. I do not belong to this place and I do not speak the language. My relation to this country is shaped by both proximity and distance. My camera is my point of entry. It allows me to explore, connect to and linger while also being an observer. As a Canadian-Croatian, with most of the paternal side of my family residing in Bosnia and Herzegovina, I recognize myself as both an insider and an outsider; welcomed into private spaces but never quite feeling like I should be there. I find myself extremely aware of the history, the grief that lingers and the questions that may always be left unanswered. This series emerges from these tensions. Rather than seeking resolution, it invites reflectio on an impossible place. #artexhibitions #artopening #documentaryphoto @ameliasopta @docnowfestival by @beaverhallgallery

Traces & Echoes Michelle Breslin & Barbara Greczny May 6 – 23, Wednesday – Sunday, Noon-6pm Opening Reception Thursday May 7, 6pm-9pm Part of the CONTACT Photography festival 2026 Traces & Echoes is a photography-based installation by Michelle Breslin and Barbara Greczny exploring landscape as a site of memory, reflection, and emotional resonance. Through photography, video, sound, and installation, the artists present Ontario’s forests, roadsides, and open skies as spaces where personal histories quietly surface. Independently created yet aligned, their photographic works reveal unexpected visual harmonies when shown together. Video elements draw viewers into a contemplative journey through the province’s countryside, while a subtle soundscape invites pause and attentiveness. Rooted in lived experience, Traces & Echoes reflects on loss, connection, and the restorative presence of the natural world. @contactphoto @lostworldsounds_ @basiagrech #artopening #contactfestival #artexhibition #torontoartists by @beaverhallgallery
