Bboy Bebe || Battle of Gods 2026 by @bebebreaks

BEBE (@bebebreaks) | 2025 THE WORLD BATTLE (@theworldbattle) RECAP.

On December 14th, at The World Battle in Fukuoka, the legendary “villain” and true innovator of breaking, Bebe of Ground Zero Crew, returned to the battle floor after a long time.

He was still powerful, sharp, and tough. Time has not dulled his presence, he clearly showed why he is a legend. Is there another character in breaking history as striking and unique character as him?

In the early 2000s, Bebe and Ground Zero Crew positioned themselves as the new “villains” of the breaking scene, injecting a completely different kind of tension and energy into the culture.

For them, battles were never just about winning or losing.
The goal was to push their opponents to the limit to completely break them.

Their reputation grew darker and louder, yet paradoxically, their popularity only continued to rise.

Just like in movies or comics, the most compelling villains often become the most unforgettable and beloved characters.

Even in today’s breaking scene, we need breakers like this dancers with a clear identity, attitude, and presence.

Respect to Bebe, a veteran who still stands on the front line,
continuing to prove his place in the culture.

The 2000's - 2000 Out For Fame East Coast Finals - Chicago - GZC Bros Bebe, Boo Rok and Zoob Highlights.
This was the year the mutation happened and our styles really became defined. Our freezes were all held firmly. Our combos were more elaborate and the moves we would create in this time would be soon be copied by the whole world. This change didn't just affect our styles but our physical appearances too Bebe grew out dreads , Zoob w the crazy facial hair colors and bald head and Boo Rok w his new Dragon Ball Z hairstyle. The crew started to resemble a rock band or sorts. This battle was a trip we took the Greyhound bus from Miami all the way to Chicago got off and pretty much started battling right away. These were some special times before smart phones, YouTube and all that.

The 90's - 1999 , GZC 💣 Bros highlights by this year our styles were changing from the more basic drop burns to now more creative freezes and longer sets. 99 was a busy year for us at events such as ProAm 99, Rock Steady Anniversary, Freestyle Session and the very first Who Can Roast The Most?

I appeared in the reggaeton documentary available on Peacock 🦚. In it, Vico-C discusses the genre's roots and its connection to hip-hop culture. They also show photos of me as a kid, dancing with my crew—Ground Zero—for Mexicano (RIP) back in 1997. There are also photos of Los Floor Rockers and Time Machine Squad. The time we spent in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 during the 90s was transformative and shaped a major part of the island's hip-hop history.
