Almost five years.

It’s hard to put into words what this chapter has meant to me.

Alaïa was never just a place to work. It became a passion, a home, and a family. A place where I grew, learned, laughed, and shared unforgettable moments with extraordinary people.

Being Image coordinator was far more than a job to me. Every collection, every campaign, every fitting, every show was a privilege. I gave everything I had because I genuinely loved being part of this house.

The greatest gift, beyond the work itself, has been the people. The friendships, the trust, the kindness, and the countless memories we created together will stay with me forever.

Big up to the best image team ever!

To everyone I had the chance to work alongside and every person behind the scenes, thank you. Thank you for welcoming me, believing in me, teaching me, challenging me, and making these years so special.

A very precious thank you to @aleksworo. Thank you for believing in me from the very beginning, for your trust, your guidance, and for being the mentor every young creative dreams of having. You shaped not only the way I work, but the way I see images, fashion, and people.

And to @pieter_mulier , thank you for your vision, your generosity, and for allowing me to be part of something so special. Witnessing your relentless pursuit of excellence has been one of the greatest privileges I’ve had.

To everyone who became part of this journey, thank you. You changed my life in ways you may never fully realize.

As one chapter closes, another begins. I’ll always carry a piece of Alaïa with me.

My first time using a camera.

This project started without any intention to prove anything, just a desire to portray something honest, something simple, but somehow deeply meaningful.

With Awar we spoke a lot about the idea of “home” for the past year, not just as a physical place, but also as something internal.

We couldn’t agree more to go back to Antigua, a place that shaped me in ways I’m still understanding today, to shoot this project. It has been a physical home for my entire childhood. The light, the colors, the rhythm of life, the feeling of space. All of it always stayed with me.

However we travel countless amounts of times in this fashion industry, so much that it’s easy to lose track of home. But home is also a feeling you carry within you, a sense of calm, of grounding. It’s a state of mind that you can reach thanks to the people surrounding you. You know there’s a kind of friendship where everything softens, where you don’t feel the need to perform, where you can just have the freedom to be yourself. That’s what we had, and that’s what I wanted to hold onto.

I tried to capture something intimate, something real, something that feels exactly like home, both physically and internally.
