I hope you had fun at Sac Porchfest @sacporchfest !? Was it good?
lookit, Matty was quoted in @abridged_pbskvie article about it :

"Matty Gerken of Be Brave Bold Robot, a local indie folk-rock band, has taken the stage on a resident’s porch nearly every year of Sac Porchfest. Gerken said he loves seeing lots of smiling faces of all ages and from all walks of life, showing up for one another and for a great cause.
“It is absolutely one of my favorite events in Sacramento, and I love how spontaneous it feels,” Gerken said. “It’s not officially sanctioned, it’s not to make money, it doesn’t have that sterile, over-engineered feeling, but it’s very well organized and has been really successful.”
Gerken said performing at Sac Porchfest offers an unusually intimate experience, with audiences standing close enough to reach out and touch the microphone and porch hosts welcoming musicians with tamales.
“I love the musical camaraderie feeling about it,” Gerken said. “There’s all these musicians donating their time and talents, equipment, the people that donate their time to run the sound, and the wonderful neighbors that donate their porches to the cause.”
......Gerken emphasized that getting to perform against the backdrop of Sacramento’s historic residential architecture adds a distinct charm to the shows. And with bands spanning genres from indie to rock, the festival reflects the diversity of local music.
“The quality of the light in October is just beautiful, there’s usually a new coolness in the air, and everyone is feeling relieved that we’ve all survived another brutal Sacramento summer,” he said......" by @bebraveboldrobot

Be Brave Bold Robot is narrative lyrical songwriter music, with pretty harmony vocals and soaring viola. Sharing the set will be the Hi-Ho Silvers, a new acoustic folk duo focused on tight harmonies, catchy covers ‘n’ western-wear 🤠

Catch the show at 5pm. taken in Colonial Park by @bebraveboldrobot
