My debut self-titled album ‘Because of Art’ releases November 13th on @anjunadeep 🫶🏽

This album is the result of 25 years immersed in music. Collecting records, DJing, nights out and constantly searching for new sounds. Every genre I’ve connected with has had an influence in shaping the way I hear and create music. These tracks are built from everything I’ve picked up along the way and are reflection of the sounds that have and continue to inspire me. Whether it’s on the dancefloor or listening at home, I wanted these tracks to connect on every level. It feels like this album opportunity has presented itself at the perfect time where I can honestly show what Because of Art is.

The vinyl is available to pre-order now, and first single ‘Hold On’ is out today, a UK garage-inspired record. I used to play a lot of garage so it was important to get that feeling into the album. I’m so excited to start sharing these tracks and my story with you over the next few months.

Cheers, Alex. by @because_of_art

SHIFT FOCUS

So pleased to share one of the tracks I’ve been most excited about on the upcoming album. Breakbeat and Garage have always been a big part of my sound and it was a pleasure working with @blair.fm to give the track a unique sound.

My sets are usually pretty energetic but it’s been great weaving this one in to some of my biggest shows this year. PS keep your eyes peeled for my full ABGT 700 set coming soon 👀 by @because_of_art

What a special weekend at ABGT700 😍 I had heard how amazing this venue and event was but I wasn’t prepared for just how spectacular it would be. The scenery, the stage, the sound and the beautiful crowd 🫶🏽 Beyond grateful for this experience and thank you to the @anjunadeep and @anjunabeats teams for having me out there. To all of you who were there and everyone who live streamed, thanks for dancing with me 🙌🏽 #abgt700 #anjunadeep by @because_of_art

Driven by danceable breakbeats and a heavy sprinkle of piano house, ‘Perception’ sees @because_of_art team up with one of his favourite producers, @shdwchld.

Listen to the single now, ahead of Because of Art’s debut, self-titled album, which lands on November 13. taken in Dhërmi, Vlorë, Albania by @because_of_art

The next single from my album, Perception with @shdwchld is out next week 🤙🏼

This weapon has been killing it in my sets all year. It was mad to get to make this track with @shdwchld, who has been one of my favourite producers to date 🫡
