I actually wanted to wait for a particular time to post this… a time when there would be something specific happening in my life that would make the thanksgiving feel “justified.”

But then I realized how easily we do that ,we tie our thanksgiving to answered prayers, breakthroughs, celebrations and the things we can see.

And the truth is, God deserves thanks beyond what He has done for us. He deserves thanks simply because He is God.

Every day is another great opportunity to look back, look around, and realize that there is so much to be grateful for🙏🙏🙏

So no special occasion. No particular milestone.
Just thanksgiving. 🤍

Meet this beautiful princess from the outreach at Modupe Cole Memorial. She is a special needs child and throughout our stay, she kept singing “I can carry my body” by @mikeabdulnaija in her own special way and dancing like the whole world was watching.

She didn’t get all the words right, but she got the JOY right. She got the CONFIDENCE right. She got the DANCE right. 💃. Her lyrics were not correct, but her joy was PERFECT. 🥹❤️

She would sing, dance, laugh and start again. Unfiltered. Unbothered. So full of life!

This raw moment reminded me that you don’t need perfect lyrics to praise God, you just need a grateful heart. And she has the most grateful heart.

A Family that Worships is 3!!!🥳🥳🥳

What started as a gathering has become a family,a safe place where we come together to worship, pray, laugh, fellowship, and simply spend time with God.

I’m grateful for every worship session, every prayer, every conversation, every testimony, every person God has brought into this family and every life that has been touched through A Family That Worships🙏🤲🤲🤲

To our convener, @tomike_a , thank you for yielding to God and allowing Him to use you to build this family. May God continue to strengthen you, increase you, and honour your obedience. May your oil never run dry, and may you continually receive grace to do all that God has called you to do. 🤍🤍🤍

I woke up with this song in my heart this morning, and somehow, it felt like God was reminding me of something I already know but needed to hear again.

Sometimes, in the middle of life, we can get so caught up in everything happening around us that we forget to pause and remember just how intentional God is about us.

Good God ,Good God oo
My Lord,My God ,my all
You’re so mindful,so mindful of me 🥹🥹🥹

And that part …..’You’re so mindful of me” really stayed with me.

To know that the God who holds the whole world in His hands is still mindful of me. He sees me, He knows me, He hears the things I don’t always have words for, and He remains faithful through it all.

And if You have been God through all of this, I know You will still be God through the rest of it!!!!🥹🤍🤍🤍🤍
