Psalm 150:6 - “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!”

Lyrics cause it’s lowkey unintelligible:
My desire is for You,
All I want is to be close to You,

To walk in Your will,
To learn of Your ways,
To finally be still
And know all my days

That You are my God,
That You’re in this place.
Let my every breath
Be of Your praise,
Be of Your praise.

A snippet of @ericwhitacre ‘s “Goodnight Moon”

Initially tried to accompany myself on my keyboard, but it doesn’t have a pedal, so I improvised a little. Hope you enjoy!

A new song I’ve been writing, inspired in part by James 5:16 - “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
‭‭
The power of salvation and ultimate forgiveness is in confession to God. But forgiving yourself? Healing? That comes from confession to each other. Share your burdens with your friends and let them pray for you. Shame festers in hiding, but it loses its power when you bring it into the light.

God bless friends!

Happy Good Friday! Today is the day we celebrate Jesus’s death on the cross that made a way for us to come back to a right relationship with God as he intended. He paid the price we could not pay to fulfill our debt caused by sin, and when we put our faith in him, we can have eternally abundant life.

I find our faith often takes the future tense - “God will provide,” “He will make a way,” “Justice will prevail.” Most of us have hope for the future, but we’re running on fumes today.

But on the cross, Jesus said “It is finished” (John 19:30). It’s done. He HAS provided. He HAS made a way. Justice HAS prevailed. What if we walked in this assurance, that Jesus has already won the battle in front of us?

John 3:16 - “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Now, what if eternal life is not only about quantity but also about quality? Jesus says that he came that we “may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10).

He also said that eternal life is not just life after death, for “this is eternal life: that they [we!] know you [God] the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”

Friends: we don’t have to wait for eternal life! It starts right now.
‭‭
John 16:33 - “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Song: idk yet but probably “A Little More Faith”

Merry Christmas friends! This is @malindakathleenreese’s song “Little Love,” and it’s written from the perspective of baby Jesus.

In the humble form of a child, God gave us the greatest gift through His Son. He came to earth to be the perfect sacrifice to free us from our sins and end the separation between us and Him that that sin caused.

How beautiful that he loves us so much that He would die for each and every one of us. How sweet to know that even if I were the only one who needed saving, He would do it again. That’s how much He loves me, and that’s how much He loves you. How good is our God!

As we give and receive this day, let’s be reminded why we celebrate Christmas at all and give thanks to the One who gave it all.

Philippians 4:6-7 (CSB): “Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
‭‭
Perfect love casts out fear, so dwell in His unfathomably deep love for you!
