This is George, an Okapi native to the Democratic Republic of Congo. One of the most unique animals in the animal kingdom! As an endangered species, the @okapiconservation project aims to preserve and protect the species, by promoting sustainability and combating climate issues in local areas. I’m so lucky to have spent my birthday learning more about wildlife conservation!🍃🌎 taken in Brevard Zoo by @beccabuxton

June 8th is World Ocean Day! Today (and everyday) we celebrate a big blue world beyond ours. Conservation efforts are at large for our oceans, with organizations like @coralrestorationfoundation and @theoceancleanup . It’s our job as humans to protect the planet we live on, and to do as much as possible for the largest breathing ecosystem. The ocean overs 70% of our planet, gifting us around 50% of our oxygen. Underwater ecosystems like coral reefs generate support for 25% of marine life, which helps our oceans generate that oxygen. These waters help regulate the climate, and support incredible biodiversity. Creating Marine Protected Areas is crucial for conservation efforts, and generating success! Join in on the fun, and let’s celebrate our oceans! Happy World Ocean Day! 🌊🦑🐚🐳🪼🐠🪸🌅 @worldoceanday by @beccabuxton

When I’m old and grey, and someone asks me about someone who changed my life, I get to talk about you. This is the hardest see you later I’ve ever had to say, but my Kayla you are onto such big bright beautiful things🤍 I’ve never had a friend like you, and I mean that with my whole heart. Fate brought us together, and I don’t know how I lived so long without you. If you know Kayla, you know her big heart, beautiful soul, and hilarious jokes. Her contagious laugh and smile, and beautiful wit she naturally has. Kayla is my biggest supporter and I couldn’t be more grateful for her. We have been on so many adventures together I cherish and will miss, but I now have the most beautiful memories and stories to tell about Kayla. Seeing Kayla everyday for the past 10 months has been such a gift, and I’m selfish because I want to keep her here forever, but my dear I cannot wait to see what you accomplish on your next adventure!🌴🌊 🌺

You have the brightest personality with the capability of getting anything you want in this life because of your positive attitude and outlook. Never forget who you are and what you are capable of because @kanastasio12 you are THAT girl!🤗 by @beccabuxton
