Have you ever found somewhere so good you go multiple times in one trip?💚🥰

We’ve been loving this cafe @yuenyeung.sg in Singapore serving the best Chinese-style sweet dessert soups!✨

We ordered:
- A black sesame paste warm soup with coconut ice cream and mochi🔥
- A coconut milk snow ice dessert with taro paste, red bean and ice cream❄️
- A pistachio paste warm soup🔥

These were so good. Not too sweet, super creamy and tastes like a hug from the inside out. The ingredients all felt super high quality, with very creamy ice cream and taro puree.

We loved the vibe here, with reasonable prices and a chilled evening vibe. It was always super busy when we visited, so make sure to arrive early to avoid queuing!💜

This noodle shop is serving up the tastiest bowls of hand-pulled noodles - and the best part? If you run out of noodles you can just ask for more!🥰🍜

For me, there is nothing more comforting than a bowl of steaming noodles. A little spicy, topped with fresh coriander and crunchy spring onion.

@lagman_bristol has just opened near the Bristol harbourside and delivers all this and more - I genuinely think I’ve found my new go-to spot!

We tried their beef brisket and beef shank noodles, one with spicy chilli oil and one in a glossy satay sauce, and both were insane. Handmade noodles made fresh in front of you, beef so tender it falls off the bone, hearty portions... However, on the off chance you finish your noodles first, you can ask for a top-up for FREE!!! It’s incredible value and something I would have loved as a student. Did I mention it’s also halal?

This spot is bright, it’s clean, it has easy on-screen ordering and is such fantastic value for money.

Brb, I’m off to get my next refill of noodles😉🙌

GET TO KNOW ME!💞💫🫶

In honour of one year of Beccaeatingthings (which I still can’t get my head round!), I thought it was time to introduce myself properly to all of you lovely people!

1. I graduated from the University of Bristol in 2021 and have been living and working in Bristol pretty much ever since.💃

2. I started this account because I’m a massive foodie. Whether it’s cafe crawls, fine-dining, or just indulging in some pure filth, I love eating out, discovering new places (and then yapping about them obviously!)🥰 I truly just wanted somewhere to share all my thoughts and recommendations of the places I was eating, and couldn’t believe how much this account grew!

3. My favourite type of food is definitely anything Asian. Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese cuisines have all been at the top in the past, but I’m currently having a little bit of a Korean fixation after binging the newest season of Culinary Class Wars😂 I also need at least one sweet treat once a day, and would honestly rather forgo my main than pudding most of the time😜

4. There’s no food I won’t try. I love trying new dishes, and always say that I’d try anything once.🙏

5. Whilst I love exploring Bristols culinary scene (I have a must-go list as long as my arm🤣), I also love blending my love for food with my other favourite hobby, travelling. I was lucky enough to visit some incredible places last year, (including Hong Kong twice!🥰) and can’t wait to see where this year takes me.

6. Other than food and travelling, I’m a very chill person. In my free time I like reading, doing jigsaw puzzles and going for walks. One of my goals this year is also to try and go to more music events✨

7. I never use AI to write my captions. No shade to anybody who does, but I really value my reviews reflecting my actual voice, imperfections and all, and want you guys to know that was I am saying is real, honest, and from the heart❤️

8. My go-to comfort meal? It has to be sushi. I was lucky enough in 2025 to attend my first Omakase, and have been dreaming of the next one ever since🤩

That’s all I can think of for now - did I miss anything out? Let me know how similar/different we are below💞⬇️ by @beccaeatingthings

My first time visiting Bristol’s “Best Restaurant”🏆✨

I’ve been dying to visit @correstaurant for a long long time now and after winning Bristols Best Restaurant at the @britishrestaurantawards last month now felt like the perfect time to visit.

We tried their early bird 3 course menu du jour for £30, which felt like a really good deal. The food itself was incredible and we were FULL afterwards.

The menu itself is seasonal and always changing, but when visited we went for one of everything:
- Jamon Iberico de cebo, guindilla peppers
- Black fig, tahini, grape must, beurre noisette
- Cavatelli, cavolo nero, salsa di noci, ricotta salata
- Landrace pork shoulder slow cooked in milk, crispy polenta & cime di rapa
- Tonka bean, crème caramel, sea salt
- Salted butter caramel gelato

Everything was delicious and felt elevated without being unnecessarily pretentious. I’ve also heard legendary things about their tiramisu - so a visit back is definitely on the cards soon…

Service was friendly and relaxed and the candlelit restaurant itself was beautiful. I can see why this is up there with Bristols best restaurants and would recommend to anybody for a special occasion meal♥️

You NEED to add this to your Manchester bakery list!♥️🔒

Fact: I am physically incapable of visiting Manchester without a visit to @theflatbaker. A hugeee variety of creative and always delicious sweet and savoury pastries, I’m yet to be disappointed with a bake from here.

This was our first time visiting since they opened the new sit-down section to the bakery (the best part is now they can now fit even more bakes inside😂) and the vibes are just as cute and colourful as ever.

On the recommendation from the lovely girl serving us, we went for the dulce de leche cruffin and the twice-baked hazelnut croissant. Both were STUNNING - the cruffin was stuffed with a super smooth and creamy caramel cream that went beautifully with the rich and sticky dulce de leche on top, and the croissant provided some much needed texture and crunch (shoutout to those candied pecans) and was generously filled with frangipane, with soft buttery pastry layers.

In summary, still one of my favourite spots in the city. My only request would be to PLEASE bring back the Biscoff cheesecake bun 🫶🫶🫶okay tysm xxx

A must-add to your Manchester foodie list!🇪🇸✨ (ad/invite)

We wrapped up our trip with this STUNNING meal at @elgatonegrotapas near the city centre. If you love small plates with massive flavour, every dish here was fantastic (although a specific shoutout goes to that sea bream and the shellfish rice!)

As usual with tapas, we completely over-ordered but I wouldn’t change one dish! The cocktails excellent too, spicy marg WITH a padron pepper in it was basically my idea of heaven.

Excellent vibes, super friendly service, and the kind of food that makes you go “wow…” with every bite. Send this someone who owes you a tapas lunch♥️

The order:
Peach pineapple and padron margarita
Padron Peppers
Bikini Toasted sandwich with Jamón Serrano, Manchego & truffle butter
Valencia shelfish rice with tempura cod cheeks &
lemon alioli
Chargrilled harissa chicken thighs with Salsa de
Almendras
Chargrilled cauliflower florets with ajo blanco, almond and caper gremolata
Whole sea bream with harissa and preserved lemon butter

DREAMS DO COME TRUE🫶🍥💫

Ever since the weather began to feel more autumnal, I have not stopped yapping on about craving a warm, gooey cinnamon roll. It’s been a long time coming, but from @rollonbakers in Manchester my prayers were finally answered!!!

They stock cafes all over the city and how insane do these look?! My friends and I did a cinnamon roll flight, trying the Biscoff, pistachio and raspberry, classic, bueno, Oreo and blueberry cheesecake.

And you know what? These hit every single spot. Ooey gooey, super moist and a total sugar rush. And don’t forget the best part - that almost raw, fall apart soft cinnamon roll centre.

These are massive, messy and total worth every single calorie. Even better heated up in the microwave the next day, why can’t all mornings start this way?!

This is your sign to get the sweet treat you’ve been craving!♥️✨

We’ve definitely just unlocked a new favourite cosy winter meal…🇯🇵🍜❄️ (ad/invite)

We kicked off our recent trip to Manchester with a firm favourite, @shoryu_ramen to try their new Kotomi menu.

The order:
- Frozen asahi
- Miso glazed aubergine
- Wagyu tseukenen
- Soy Wagyu ramen,
- Strawberry daifuku

Big, tender chunks of Wagyu made this ramen feel incredibly decadent and perfect for winter time. Out surprise favourite however was that glazed aubergine. It was impossibly sweet and so addictive! The new menu also includes fun seasonal favourite like Japanese fried chicken and tempura sprouts which we’d definitely try next time.

Shoryu has impressed us once again, and we loved this little window into celebrating the season the Japanese way🫶

Looking for seafood in Bristol?🦐🦞🦑 (ad/invite)

@palomarbristol has been our go-to for years now for fresh, varied seafood dishes and sharing platters (great for big fishy fans like us!)

Located on Gloucester Road, the vibes are classy and great for a date night or special celebration. There’s also options for veggies and seafood deniers, but when in Rome am I right?

The order:
- Scallops with prawn bisque and pesto
- Seafood sharing board
- Chocolate brownie with ice cream

The board was a real showstopper, plenty of big juicy prawns, garlicky mussels and some impressively hefty crab claws.

A top spot, and somewhere we’ll continue to return to❤️✨

When one of your favourite Bristol pizzas collabs with one of your favourite sandwiches, you know it’s gonna be great…🤝

We had a lush time the other night celebrating the @jaws.bristol x @pizzarova October Special collaboration pizza.

Combining that gorggg Pizzarova base with the flavours of the Jaws banh mi was a stroke of genius, with fresh coriander, crunchy slaw and juicy pork. Extra points for the pork scratching and chilli oil on top, adding a layer of texture and flavour that took this from good to great.

So nice to see two Bristol legends collaborating together, make sure you check it out before the end of the month!❤️💚

Think you’re smart enough to solve a murder?🕵️🤫💀 Check my stories / read below! (ad/invite)

I love the @sixbynico concept: an ever-changing themed tasting menu in a luxurious setting for a pretty reasonable price.

This week we tried their current menu, an American Mystery, where you’re tasked with solving a thirty year-old cold case using the evidence, clues and tools given throughout the evening.

This was our favourite Six By Nico menu yet. The food was delicious, following the story of our sorry victims last days with matching themed cocktails to date. At first glance reading the menu I wasn’t sure how sophisticated each course would be - however I was really impressed with their inventive and playful takes on American classic dishes, including chicken and waffles, clam chowder and apple pie.

We had a blast trying to crack the case (helped out by the constant stream of cocktails) and let’s just say one of us got a little bit too into it…🤣

Service was friendly and attentive, the food was excellent and the evening was well paced and thought-out.

I’ve also been kindly offered a discount code for the first ten people (check my story), perfect for anyone who’s been tempted to try out Six by Nico but was waiting for the right time.💗

Let me know below - have you ever done a murder mystery? Were you able to solve the case?🫆

FELIZ NAVIDAD 🎄🥳🔥 (ad/invite)

@batida_bristol is launching their Festive Menu! We were lucky enough to get an early look and oh my LORDDD. It’s been a while since we’ve visited Batida, and now I can’t remember why 😭😭😭

The order:
* Spicy mango marg 🥭
* Peach marg 🍑
* Bruschetta 🍅
* Cubano with Parmesan & herbed fries 🥪
* Chicken burrito with sweet potato fries 🌯
* Dulce de leche cheesecake 🍯

Started with margs, of course, which were sweet, sharp and heavyyy on the tequila.

The bruschetta was a sneaky winner: toasted, fluffy ciabatta, sweet and juicy tomatoes, and a tangy balsamic that brought the whole dish together.

The Cubano was HUGE. Perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and stuffed with ham and melty cheese.

Burrito? Banged. Super saucy, and with that tangy hot sauce? Delicious. The sweet potato fries were also perfectly crispy. Big fan.

But of course, I’m me, and that dulce de leche cheesecake was the STAR. For a baked cheesecake, this was super light and fluffy, with plenty of thickkk dulce de leche and a sweet, creamy condensed milk drizzle.

Christmas is coming, and Batida is still one of our favourite places to celebrate with some beautiful Latin food in style! 💃
