Aaaand she’s done. Eggs have been donated. I was slightly nervous before going in but the team were so lovely and I felt so safe. I was wished sweet dreams before what I can only describe as a 20 minute nap. Then I woke back up in my recovery chair and was given ginger nut biscuits. I was flying mildly high and I don’t think I’d ever been happier to see biscuits and water (having not eaten or drunk anything since 10pm the night before). I’ve had minimal pain since and I’ve been checked up on multiple times by the nursing team. They’ve collected 13 eggs which I’m pretty proud of my lil’ ovaries for achieving. Thanks for all the well wishes and to anyone considering it - please enjoy video I took (whilst definitely still a bit loopy on meds) of my socks with the inspirational thought of “Egg donation? JUST DO IT!” 🪺 #eggdonation #eggdonor #londoneggbank #londonwomensclinic #fertility #donor #donation by @beccaridout

The Ballad of Sweeney Todd for Roles We Nearly Played 🩸 @roleswellneverplay ft. the audience in the role of Sweeney Todd. Thanks to @tomduern for going with my unhinged choice and @flynnsturgeon for making it happen musically. 🎥 @jiacheng_annie.p #sweeneytodd #roleswellneverplay #soprano by @beccaridout

Hampton Court Half Marathon 🏰 proud as anything to have run alongside @timdsouthgate for his first half marathon (PB baby) and my first back in seven years. Now I’ve just got to do that twice in April! 🏃🏻‍♀️slide along for the most ridiculous but brilliant medal. We missed the photo op with Henry VIII himself. taken in Hampton Court Palace by @beccaridout

THE EP OF SENSE & SENSIBILITY IS OUT NOW 🎀 I have loved being a part of the development of this beautiful musical and I’m thrilled more people will get to hear (some of) it through this EP. I used to get out CDs from a library to trawl through new musicals but now it’s streaming, free, on Spotify (LINK IN BIO, DUH).

I am particularly proud of @thatdanielhall’s stunning ‘If You Will Have Me’- I’ve cried so many times listening to him sing that song - and @lottieclitherow’s perfect ‘Willoughby’ - you’ll swoon at the lyrics and her Marianne equally.

Then of course there’s the combined genius of @thomasfarnold & @grace_o_keefe who have created such a wonderful show. I don’t have the right superlatives.

You’ll just have to listen to the EP and watch this space on @senseandsensibilitymusical for the future of this show whilst I fondly recall when I got to play Elinor Dashwood 🤍 by @beccaridout

I was worried whether Mellon would be able to retain her title of 2nd “Most Appealing Eyes” in the Country Fayre. Can’t believe I doubted her. This year, she’s bringing home 1st! Super proud sighthound sisters too as @chloeridout’s Tricky boy was 1st in “Best Veteran” and Reserve Best in Show! A proud day in the Ridout household 🏆 taken in Silchester by @beccaridout
