gradu ATE🎓 it is actually hard to figure out how to caption everything we have been through this past year, so i will start from the very beginning. i remember entering the music room for the first time to join girls i never imagined would become my friends, my company, and especially my number one supporters. thank you @anapaulig , @fabirojasduarte, @jazoneromr and gloria for giving me feedback, reading my essays, observing my classes, cheering me up, and—of course—making me laugh. claiming i never had doubts about leaving the course would be a total lie, because honestly, there were MANY times i simply wanted to quit. what do you mean i actually had to work (teach), do university homework, plan the infamous 'Teaching Practices', actually PRACTICE to reach eight hours, attend university classes, study for midterms and final exams, study for TESOL exams, AND handle the goddamn Learner's Profile??? girl, it was literally the first time in my life i realized i did NOT know any real English 😭 i was TERRIFIED of phonology /fəˈnɒl.ə.dʒi/ and grammar—i never imagined studying my native language could actually be this difficult. not to mention having people constantly correct the thousands of mistakes i made (and still make). but i am so lucky to have had teachers who were truly dedicated to us—teachers who answered texts and emails no matter the time or day. a special thank you to them: desiree, harshini, carolina and stael. thank you for guiding us from day one. anyway, i should finish writing this (or i’ll never stop). thank you once again to everyone who helped me get through this INTENSE year. (honorable mention to the side pics: exams, grades, lesson plans, guidelines, feedback, comparisons, and so much more) i love you all♡ by @beccarvp
