hi everyone! welcome back to my page. i’m sorry for being inactive over the past week or so, i’ve been busy getting ready for my last year of uni! i hope to interact more over the next month or so :)

anyway, today i have my october tbr to share with all of you! for october, i wanted to focus on spooky reads, more dark academia and a couple new releases!!! 👻 i’m definitely new to reading horror so if you guys have any recommendations i’d love to hear them. my most anticipated reads for the month are definitely the villains series by v.e. schwab and mothsblood by lynn d. jung 🖤 i hope i love them!!!

come book shopping with me 📖 !!!

hi :)) welcome back to my page 🖤 a couple of days ago i went book shopping to stock up on some autumn reads. this is probably my biggest book haul of the year and i’m excited to share it with you!!

for this trip, i went to my favourite waterstones in the city and they never disappoint. the selection in both stores are incredible and they’re such beautiful book shops to visit. maybe next time i make a post like this i can visit the independent bookstores near me instead 😛

please scroll to see what i purchased 🤍 (mainly romantasy, dark academia and horror) <33

⤷ what was the last book you purchased?

books you couldn’t pay me to… trend 🖤

hi everyone! welcome back to my page :) i may be late with this one but here’s my version of the books you couldn’t pay me to… trend !!

i had a lot of fun making this one and going over some of my favourite (and not so favourite 🫣) books! please don’t be offended if i included one of your favourite books in one of the negative categories, reading is subjective and these are all my own opinions! 🫣 however i’d love to discuss these books in the comments so feel free to ask me any questions (as long as they’re respectful!)

⤷ what books do you agree/disagree with me on?

reading at a cafe ☕️ + book shopping!

hi everyone :) welcome back to my page. a week ago i visited a cafe i’ve never been to before. it was very pretty and had lots of bookshelves 😩 i thought i might as well make a post out of such a pretty location. i’ve already been back since and it’s definitely my new favourite reading place!

i was reading kitten by stacey yu at the time and it became a 5 star read for me 🐈‍⬛ i also did some book shopping afterwards. please let me know if you’ve read any of the books i was tempted to buy <33

⤷ where is your favourite reading location? 📖

becca’s september #tbr 📖🍂

hi everyone :) welcome to my new page! i’m so excited to be here and have a fresh start on booksta. if you haven’t come from my old page (literaryreba), then hi, i’m becca, 20, from the uk. i’m sorry that my first post isn’t an introduction to me, i haven’t been able to make a post like that yet. hopefully within the next month or so!

anywayy, it’s kinda late for a tbr post, as i usually like to post these on the first of the month. however, i made this before i decided to move accounts and i didn’t want it to go to waste.

my tbr this month is mostly dark academia books which i’m so excited for! i’ve been saving them up all year for autumn 🤍

please show lots of love for my first post on this account! likes, comments and shares are appreciated while i try to rebuild my following <3

⤷ what is on your september tbr?
