I don’t think there is ever a bad time to go to New York. Despite the heat and the the nightmare that is JFK! Something for everyone and truly the people make this place so special.

Moulay Idriss is a dusty pastel faded dream. Green and white the traditional colours of Islam dominate the winding streets in so many different shades. The town was off limits to non Muslims for overnight stays until 2005 and guide Imad told us that If you visit Moulay Idriss five times, it’s considered the same as if you visit Mecca in Saudi Arabia. We would have enjoyed a bit more time here as there seemed to be more cats and donkeys than people! #moulayidriss #morocco #worldschooling taken in Moulay Idriss by @beceylan

This was Frances, she was my grandmother. I had the privilege of holding this very special lady’s hand as she left this life. To witness the moment her energy transformed was profound and moving in ways I hadn’t prepared myself for. I’m not religious (Frances was..and boy she let you know about it!) I’m not particularly woo woo either but there was something sacred in that moment, just as there is in birth. Energy never dies, that’s science. So today as my family say goodbye I know Nan is out there in some form or other. For her I hope it takes the form of being reunited with her precious Bern. I will celebrate the beautiful life you had, love you Nan x by @beceylan

Our first time back in South East Asia for 9 years! The nostalgia hit very hard. Familiar smells and tastes brought back memories for the twins that had us emotional over a piece of fruit..iykyk 😂 Currently questioning life choices and options..
