Did you know that Tanner @beckandcap is still making furniture? Unfortunately the fire wiped out his dry logs for any carved pieces, but he’s equally as talented at pieces like this!! Tables, islands, consoles, dressers…he can make it all. I lovvvvvvve this design too! Thanks for the awesome photos of it @mckennamunden 🤩 taken in Kalispell, Montana by @beckandcap

2025: the year we lost our business to fire, renovated an abandoned brewery to become our home and filmed a tv show while doing it. WHEW! In case you haven’t been following along for very long, I’m a designer and my husband is a builder/custom furniture maker (shameless @beckandcap plug here)! 2026 is the year that we restart our business, enjoy what we’ve built, and begin some really fun NEW projects!! We’d love for you to follow along ☺️ taken in Kalispell, Montana by @beckandcap

We got to do the interior design + some fun custom details for this treehouse with @stayglacier and the end result is this gorgeous, moody, tonal vibe! All of the layers work so well together!

We did a custom range hood with a carved wood cover, then finished it in a patinated liquid bronze coating.

That “tree” is a large diameter post we carved to feel like an actual trunk, then added branches so it all blends in like it was always a tree! It is finished with the shou sugi ban technique which allows the character of the wood to remain while also giving it this gorgeous rich, warm color!

Fireplace is microcement with a custom mantel, matched to the @glaciermillworks cladding we installed so everything feels tied together.

And in the bath and kitchen, more microcement. Shower and countertop, plus a custom oak transition piece to match the kitchen flooring because if you have to have a transition, it should look as seamless and invisible as possible!

Message us about your upcoming projects. We’d love to help! taken in Kalispell, Montana by @beckandcap

After the fire in December 2024, getting back to building has been a slow, gritty, figure-it-out-as-we-go kind of process. Over the past year we’ve been rebuilding, refining how we run things, and finding a rhythm again. While we can’t restart our big carved pieces just yet, we’re rocking and rolling with tables, islands and custom pieces of all kinds!

One of the best parts of finding our rhythm again is that we’ve been able to trim overhead and run leaner, so we can adjust pricing in a way that is very impactful for you!

We are so pumped to see where the year goes. Let us know if we can quote anything for you or answer any questions! Check out some of our available designs at Beckandcap.com taken in Kalispell, Montana by @beckandcap
