This sweet, kind, beautiful mother of ours passed away peacefully yesterday morning with all her children encircled around her. We love her so much and will miss her like crazy, but also happy for her to be reunited with her husband, parents and other dear family and friends. This beautiful nativity was a gift I received from Steve about 7 years ago. I have such good memories of opening it. I immediately burst into uncontrollable tears of joy. I was totally caught off guard. It meant so much to me because it embodies everything that is important to me; my faith in Jesus Christ, my thoughtful husband who knows me so well, which lead me to think of the love I feel for my family. I have never experienced receiving a gift in that way before or ever since. Thank you Steve for being a light in my life. WARNING: Content might be offensive. Swipe at your own discretion. I’m posting this because I marvel at Ryan’s artistic abilities. He free-handed this picture in minutes and had the family busting a gut! I can easily see him illustrating a book or making a comic strip one day. The words are credited to Steve, but Ryan is as wickedly funny. I’m excited for Ryan because he registered for Digital Design classes at Century College next year, his Senior year. Last Thursday afternoon my sweet dear father passed away. Many of you know that he has been struggling with an illness the passed 16 years and I’m so grateful that his body and soul are finally at peace. He was such a great father and a hero to me.
