One of my favorite spots in COME FROM AWAY…”Me And The Sky” sung by @meredith.owe . She’s killing it onstage—-as is the rest of the cast! Also in this clip: @ksalase on drums, @discobungle on guitar, @ohmlightlove on guitar, and @ainsley_matic on piano. #BassicBecky #ComeFromAway #PitMusician #Maestra taken in Jefferson Performing Arts Center by @beckydabass

After two amazing weekends of COME FROM AWAY, this band of lumberjacks has officially left Gander. It was a treat to play this heartfelt show with these incredible musicians. Going to miss this show & could have played it a lot longer. 💙🌎💛 @ainsley_matic @annemariechabreck @ksalase @blaykew @ohmlightlove @discobungle @dukestrings @jpasnola #ComeFromAway #Bassist #Maestra #PitOrchestra taken in Jefferson Performing Arts Center by @beckydabass

View from the stage last night, about 20 mins before curtain…the audience eventually filled up most of the theatre last night and we had a GREAT opening night of COME FROM AWAY! Only five more chances to catch this show. Come see it if you can. 💙💛 taken in Jefferson Performing Arts Center by @beckydabass

We opened THE SAZERACS last night at @rivertowntheaters! Having more fun than should be allowed with my fellow rhythm section buddies, @jessepiano and @ksalase, as we play two hours of big band tunes with some schtick thrown in for fun. Only two more shows after tonight. Grab a ticket and come out to “Kenner….America’s City”. 😂 @thesazeracs #BassicBecky #Maestra #Bassist taken in Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts by @beckydabass

For the next 7 nights, I’ll be playing big band standards with the @thesazeracs, then I get to focus on this little ditty for the next 3 weekends at @jpasnola. 🙌 #BassicBecky #ComeFromAway #PracticePracticePractice by @beckydabass

Talk about “Circle of Life”…..I’m playing a rehearsal at the “old” Rivertown Theatre in Kenner tonight for a big-ish band gig. I haven’t played a show in this theater in WELL over 25 years! @ksalase and I played EVITA here, as 18 and 19-year olds, back in 1994! #BassicBecky #WeOld #Yikes taken in Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts by @beckydabass

We closed A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC today under the ever-watchful Angry Ceiling™️ at @summerlyrictulane and now my summer show gigs are complete. Playing 5 different week-long shows over the last 9 weeks was more fun than I’ve ever had before in a summer and I’ll be happy to do it again. Tomorrow morning at 7am, my school year starts (I have exciting news about that as well!), but it has been a joy to play with so many amazingly talented people, both in the pit and onstage this summer. Let’s see what next summer brings! 💙 #BassicBecky #PitMusician #Bassist #Maestra taken in Tulane Summer Lyric Theater by @beckydabass
