At 4:03 PM, I gave birth to my beautiful daughter, E’Lani 🩷✨
The moment I heard your cry, my whole world changed forever. I can’t even begin to explain the love I have for you. You gave my life a new purpose, a new kind of happiness, and a love so deep it brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it.

Being your mommy has been the greatest blessing of my life. Through every sleepless night, every laugh, every cuddle, every milestone, and every moment in between, you have made my heart fuller than I ever thought possible. You are my sunshine, my best friend, my little twin, and the purest piece of me.

No matter how hard life gets, one smile from you makes everything worth it. Watching you grow has been the most beautiful journey, and I thank God every single day for choosing me to be your mother.

Postpartum Depression Awareness 🤍

Posting these pictures was a huge step in my postpartum journey. It took confidence that I honestly don’t have right now.

Postpartum took so much from me. Isolation. Anxiety. Self-doubt. Loss of confidence. Somewhere along the way, I completely lost myself.

People tell me I’m beautiful, but truthfully… I’m still trying to see her again.

Please be aware of postpartum depression.

Before getting mad at a newborn mom, check on her. Before calling her distant, check on her. Before saying “you changed,” check on her. Because postpartum doesn’t always look like crying. Sometimes it looks like losing yourself completely.

Also, thank you to my village — my mom, my dad, my man, my real friends, and my siblings. Thank you for loving me through the version of myself I couldn’t love. 🤍
